Is it worth driving 19 hours in two days just to see “ The High Kings” in concert? The answer is always YES.

1) Live music is always worth it
2) The High Kings absolutely never disappoint and this might have been the liveliest, best show of the dozens of theirs that we’ve seen
3) Ian’s level of joy seeing his High Kings is never to be missed

I owe the majority of my soccer knowledge to the school of Ted Lasso. So it was appropriate, as this town was “heartbent” from the end of World Cup soccer in KC, The Ted Lasso team gave us a glimmer of hope for good soccer things to come. And just like we realized about our World Cup experience, Ted Lasso is really more about friendship, kindness and hope than it is about soccer.

Like all of you, I’m so incredibly proud of our great city and how we brought that KC love and personality to the world stage. I can’t wait to see Kansas City highlights and pride continue to shine on Season 4 of Ted Lasso. As Ian reminds us daily, it premieres on August 5 on Apple TV!
