We are so sad to share that our wonderful little dog , Paddington , has passed away. For so many years Pad was a source of fun and joy to our family and to his extended family at Explorers. Younger Pad greeted everyone who came into the shop, showed fierce hate to all UPS and FedEx drivers, and was extremely loyal to those he loved. We miss him horribly, but he had nearly 18 years with us and we are grateful for those memories.
No doubt Paddington is chasing rabbits and living the high life with other good dogs in heaven.

It’s Paddington’s 17th Birthday today!
We always give him a hamburger or some steak for his Birthday too. And he doesn’t try too hard to maintain himself once his eyes are set on it!

We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Dom Famularo’s (far left) passing. Dom was not only a great drummer but a true icon in drum education, author and a motivational speaker too. He burned many trails around the globe performing drum clinics and conducting self motivational classes.
If you ran into him at a convention you had to make it fast before you were interrupted by someone else who wanted to visit with Dom too. His magnetism and positive energy was unmatched. This picture is from 1987 the first time out of a half dozen times Dom visited Explorers Percussion. Dom stayed at our house a few times and even sat in with my band if we were playing. We would sometimes have these enthusiastic and positive talks deep into the early morning hours. And he would still get up early with enormous and glowing energy! Dom’s radiance and positive light will always be in our minds and hearts. And I am so grateful I heard from him only a couple weeks ago. RIP Dom🙏
