Fish Camp weekly Fishing Report
Bitteroot lake
Kokanee salmon bite been excellent still. Trolling try small dodgers with wedding spinners or micro hoochies. Jigging try JT Tackle Taildraggers or Swedish pimple orange and pink colors have been good. Boat launching still bit tuff but they are getting in. Try late afternoon for rainbows with planer boards. Daves PlugIt Handcrafted Tackle work well or flys.
Flathead Lake (south end)
Elmo and Big Arm areas doing great for nice perch. Try 20" water in both bays. Northland forage minnows tipped with worms been productive. Smallmouth action has been good all around that area also. Polson bay around the city docks have been productive also for perch and bass. Try near Shelter and Cedar Islands with big flatfish on bottom for lake trout.
Rodgers lake
Still fishing well.for grayling try small leech patterns for flys. Spinning gear small spoons and spinners.
Upper Thompson
Fishing well nice bass, perch and few salmon.
Foy lake
Rainbow fishing been good early mornings for bank fisherman try orange or green power bait. Boats try Berkley flickers shad in rainbow or red craw.
Lake Mary Ronan
Salmon bite still good in mornings try west end near white rock bay or out in front of Mt.Meadows lodge. Jigging pimple in 25' been very productive. Look for perch near camp Tuffit area 12 to 20' water. If you catch the pike.be sure to keep them.
Lower Stillwater
Fishing good for nice perch and lots of smaller pike try west end above the islands.
Blanchard lake
Been good for nice bass and lots of smaller crappie. Jigs and senkos have been good for bass. Try crappie candy for crappies.
Echo lake
Bass fishing been good! Water levels are up nice you can get back into Abbot and Peterson now they are fishing good for bass and crappie.
Try main lake for Lake Whitefish using JT Tackle whitefish jigs or Zimmer Rattle Dzastors.
Swan Lake
Still producing some pike action on south end and a few nice perch. Try trolling shorelines with Flicker shads for nice rainbows 🌈 lake trout actiion near the hwy or river mouth jigging tube baits or spoon have been decent.
McWennergar slough
Crappie and pike action been good for a place close to town. Evenings has been better for crappies. Try jerkbaits and spinnerbaits for pike.
Hungry Horse Reservoir
Fishing well for Cutts near creek mouths. Try small gold or copper little cleos spoon or panther Martin spinners. Larger plugs work well for Bulltrout.
Ashley Lake
Decent numbers of smaller salmon trolling or jigging near the bottom in 40 to 50' been productive try orange swedish pimple or JT Tail daggers. Look for big perch in w**d beds try live leeches they work well.
