BLOOM// Sugar Shake Echibeckia

Okay, but look at her.

Meet ‘Sugar Shake’ echibeckia, a beauty we added to the farm from Sarah Wagstaff| Hugelkultur Flower Farm| Skagit Valley & Seattle Farm.

The blooms begin in the most unexpected combination of peach and lime, and as they spend their days in the summer sun, the colors slowly deepen and transform into warm sunset hues with just a hint of chocolate.

It’s one of those flowers that seems to get better—and a little more interesting—with age.

She’s blooming for the first time here on the farm this season, and we’re already completely taken with her.

Keep an eye on your flower stand bouquets. You might just find a Sugar Shake tucked inside.

The butterfly bush has officially made its debut… and apparently TikTok agrees it’s worth stopping for. 🦋

This little video has become our most-watched TikTok with over 15,000 views, and we completely understand why. The butterflies love it just as much as we do.

The first stems are finally ready, and we’re tucking a few into our fresh market bouquets while they last. If you’ve been hoping to take a little piece of the farm home, now’s the time.

TWO KAYS// When V + M first reached out, she had one request:

“I want my bouquet to look like it was gathered from a mountain meadow.”

In July, Glacier gives us the perfect palette to bring that feeling to life. Airy textures, movement, and flowers that feel as though they belong in the landscape rather than competing with it.

Watching this bouquet become part of their day, with Glacier National Park as the backdrop, is exactly why we love what we do.

BLOOM// Rocket Rose Snapdragon

Some flowers whisper. Rocket Rose snapdragons know how to make an entrance.

With tall, elegant spires covered in layers of rose-pink blooms, they bring both height and romance to our bouquets. They add that perfect touch of movement and texture—whether they’re standing proudly in a mixed market bouquet or stealing the show all on their own.

One of my favorite things about snapdragons? Each stem opens from the bottom up, so they continue to bloom in the vase, changing just a little every day. It’s like getting a fresh bouquet twice.

You’ll find Rocket Rose making appearances in the flower stand while they’re in bloom—but like everything we grow, they’re here for just a short season. 🌸

TWO KAYS// Gladiolus season doesn’t last long, and this week’s blooms are some of my favorites. Every stem in the stand was grown here on our farm and cut fresh for today’s bouquets. If you’ve never taken gladiolus home before, this is your sign. 🌸
