Attention all fall lovers... it's almost that time of year.

We are stocked with our ornamental peppers and chard and.... drumroll please... Mums will be arriving this week! That's right, it's time to start thinking about how to decorate your fall porch pots and we'll have great options for you no later than the 21st!

Then, early next month...Spring Flowering Bulbs will begin to roll in... summer is just never quite long enough.

Just in friends...

Even on days like today, we're bringing in fresh stock and new items!

First we have Stand By Me Clematis... she is a beauty and quite unique as she doesn't vine. She is a bush clematis who will grow 34-38 inches tall and 24-36 inches wide. We get to enjoy the bell-shaped, rich blue or lavender-lilac flowers from late spring through summer. Then she provides the beautiful fluffy white seed heads.

The second show stopper is Moongate Mocha Clematis... and she is gorgeous! She is a traditional vining clematis that features rich, dark burgundy-chocolate foliage that sets off masses of satin-pink flowers with lime-yellow stamens.

Don't miss your chance to add one of these beauties to your landscape today!

Remember the rule of thumb for Clematis - "Head in the Sun, Feet in the Shade". Even the bush clematis like their feet to stay cool. We'd recommend some low lying perennials or a think layer of mulch.

Houseplant Appreciation Post!

The Greenhouse is very bright and cheery on this gloomy day. We need the rain, so you won't hear us complaining... but this beautiful foliage is a cheery sight when it's a bit grey outdoors.

Stop in for a quick fix if you're out and about. We're here till 5pm today!

Speaking of Roses...

We have Miracle on the Hudson and Pink Miracle from our rose beds. These phots were taken 8.14.26 and look at the beauty! It's August and there are no signs on black spot or mildew!

These roses are tough, award-winning landscape shrub roses named to commemorate the heroic 2009 emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549. They were bred for high-disease resistance and continuous bloom. These compact plants will reach 3-4 feet tall and wide at maturity.
