Step into the world of BookField with these little terrariums! ✨💫✨
Each one is filled with moss and various natural things, mostly foraged. I have so much fun creating these vials and love that they capture my vibe.

Another childhood fun fact: I loved pretending I was a witch. It is what I dressed up as for almost every Halloween. I would mix up all types of random potions and mud pies in my backyard. I would collect random nature items to keep in my trinket pile. When I played outside, I was entering into my own little magical realm filled with imagination.

So come take a step into my imagination and see how fun it is ✨💫✨

Every market season I bring a few books with me that I will read while it's slow.
To start off this year's season, I have this really cool book about deep sea exploration. It has been so much fun reading this and thinking about what it would be like to be making these discoveries in the early 1900s. What it must have been like to describe bioluminescent creatures to those who would never be able to see them until camera technology advanced.
I ended up watching multiple documentaries about deep sea exploration just so I could actually see the animals that were being described in the book. It must have been wild to be the first person to see these creatures.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with the ground and nature. I got a telescope for Christmas one year and immediately pointed it down just to check out the grass close up. I have always been fascinated and curious about what it would be like to be microscopic. To live amongst the grass and moss. To walk under the dandelions. To make hats with flowers. To drink dew off clovers.

Creating a little world inside this teapot gave me a glimpse of what that might be like. To say I had fun would be an understatement.

I highly recommend saving random glass containers and turning them into your own faerie worlds ✨

Time to blow out the candles and celebrate!!! 🎉
BookField officially turns 7 today!!!

I remember the very first books I ever sold on Etsy. They were a bunch of books I had saved over the years from the ends of driveways. I had no idea that 7 years later I'd be repairing books and selling art.

When I watched my first book repair video, I was in awe and intimidated. I felt I could only dream that one day I'd be at that skill level. Over the years, I have repaired hundreds of books and rebound even more. To know that I've touched so many books and potentially saved them from our landfills; it's truly a dream come true.

It feels surreal to go from reading books in the hallway between classes to repairing books.

& With your support, I picked up drawing again and have been able to incorporate my art into book repairs. It also allowed me to test out other various forms of art to sell alongside my book creations.

Even though I am only 7 years in, I feel like I am just getting started ✨💫✨

Thank you again for your support! None of this would be possible without y'all and I am forever grateful 💖

Market season is right around the corner and I can't wait!!! I'm excited to bring back some best sellers, as well as introducing some new art.

Here's a little shout out to my spiral notebooks which were a huge hit last year. I'm bringing them back again this year and they will be better than ever.

Thank you for continuing to grow with me! Y'all's support really helped push me back into drawing. I truly am forever grateful and shocked with how far I've grown over the last year. I can't wait to continue learning different drawing techniques and growing my art with y'all 💖

Keep your eyes peeled for market season announcements! Hopefully I have some dates lined up by next month ✨

When I first started making journals, the thought of making a book was always there. I knew I wanted the first book I ever bound to be Winnie the Pooh 🍯
✨🥹✨ Here it is, a literal dream come true ✨🥹✨

I've spent the last few years refining my craft and finding out what it is I truly love doing. This winter, I decided it was finally time to test what I could really do in terms of binding. It was quite a learning curve. I still feel that I have more I could learn and refine from here. Bookbinding is definitely a skill where I truly am forever learning.

It's hard to put into words how complete this makes me feel. A moment for happy tears, that's for sure 💖

Now for the details:
This is the original text for Winnie the Pooh, which is public domain. I formatted, printed and bound this copy by hand. I picked out this really pretty mint fabric to match the endpaper perfectly and it's gender neutral. I wanted these books to be something you hold on to for generations to come 📚

Requests for personalized copies of Winnie the Pooh will be available soon ✨

I do not claim ownership of the text or illustrations.

I don't think I ever gave these journals a proper post. Here are various photos of the same 3 journals 😅 I couldn't pick which ones I liked best and needed to clear some space. I had so much fun creating these. Being able to honor these animals one last time brings joy to my heart. I hope these all go to good homes and get filled with lots of fun memories or spells ✨💫✨

Which one calls to you? I personally love the vertebrae and pelvis combo 💖

Meet the Lil' Guys ✨💫✨
I started making these ghosts around Samhain and decided to make them a permanent addition to the shop year round. I've had so much fun crafting them and creating their little terrarium homes. It's really helped keep the creativity alive by playing with a different art medium. I have some ideas for other little adoptable monsters, so keep your eyes peeled in the new year 👀

Thanks for continuing to support my art 💖 It means the world to me ✨💫✨
