Happy Record Store Day! Even though we won’t have the special releases this time around, there will be all kinds of goodies for you. Putting out hundreds of new arrivals including a ton of rare import indie titles. Brand new vinyl and CDs starting a $5.99. Also free stuff for all of our amazing customers.

Some interesting boxsets just arrived including this deluxe edition Cat Stevens ‘Tea for the Tillerman’ 50th Anniversary reissue.

The bins are starting to fill up. Luckily we have the lower shelves and a bunch of separate smaller racks to still populate. Even so, we’re going to have a ton of extra vinyl that will be in the stockroom. Please ask if you don’t see something you’re looking for because there’s a good chance we have it on a shelf somewhere.

This was a curious album we found find in a large collection of new vinyl we purchased from the UK. Among the current Indie & Pop records was this copy of Elton John’s first unreleased record. It turns out the mono version was released on RSD a few years back and this is the more recent stereo version. It is a surprisingly solid album fusing Psych Rock and Folk vibes.

We stopped by the awesome Uila Records in Waimea today to support our fellow Big Island vinyl vendor. This is a fantastic place to get Records, CDs, equipment and cool apparel in the Kohala area. While there sure to check out Pau Pizza next door for the best slices on the island.
