It's time to step up and do what communities do. I have a big ask of you guys but I really believe in this one.

We're based out of Joplin, MO, and as you know this area is notorious for bad storms. Joseph Turner is a local and top tier member of our cardboard community that is going through it right now. Himself and his son have been collecting Pokémon and MTG for as long as I can remember. This last storm sent a tree branch through his bedroom room while he was working overnights, causing immense damage and going without power in his home even now. To top it off, he wasn't around to save his collection and the ongoing overnight rains totally flooded hundreds and hundreds of cards.

*EDIT* I just got wind that what is remaining he's feeling forced to sell to cover the damages to his home. I know some of us have been there before and something just doesn't feel right about it.

My ask of you guys is to help us do what we can to rebuild his collection so that Joe can at the very least continue to feel connected to the community during such a trying time. Over the next couple of shows, Brothers' Trading Post LLC will have a binder solely for donor cards going to this cause. $0.20 or $1,000 card? It all goes to Joe and his family to hopefully bring something uplifting amongst all of this turmoil they're dealing with.

The floorplan is out for Cards at Cards Cards at Sportstown event! Brothers will be on Court 2 and our specific location will be in the comments! Come check us out for all of your TCG needs, and I mean all of em. We'll have Pokémon, MTG, Dragon Ball and One Piece on sight and don't hesitate to ask about Union Arena, Gundam and Yugioh as well!

This Show Is Our Passion.

Cards @ Sports Town isn’t run by a large company or an out-of-town promoter. It’s organized by two local collectors and our families, who pour countless hours into making this event the best it can possibly be.

We travel to card shows all across the country as vendors, constantly taking notes on what works, what doesn’t, and how we can improve the experience for both vendors and customers. Every show we attend helps us bring new ideas back home to Southwest Missouri.

We’re always willing to try new things, make adjustments, and invest back into the hobby because we genuinely care about growing the local card community. Whether it’s expanding venues, keeping admission free, hosting trade nights, increasing giveaways, or creating more opportunities for vendors, our goal is simple: make every show better than the last.

In recent years, we’ve seen more and more promoters from outside the area come in to run shows. There’s nothing wrong with competition, but this community means something different to us because it’s our community too. We live here. We raise our families here. We buy, sell, collect, and attend shows right alongside you.
