We had the honor of presenting Circles - Joplin a check from the first Annual Break the Cycle day ride. A fantastic organization that gives back to the Joplin community! If you don’t know what they do, or are wanting to get involved to give back, check them out!

It's been months in the making and has finally come to fruition. An area domestic violence shelter and substance abuse treatment facility cuts the ribbon on a transitional house that will help clients get back on their feet.

The Jade House is complete and the ribbon has been cut, but the possibilities for the families that will benefit from this new home are just beginning. We couldn't be more proud of this achievement or more grateful to everyone who encouraged us on the tour and generously donated funds and resources. One cyclist perfectly captured her experience in a letter of hope and love to each future resident who will live here, so we framed it with a collage of pictures from Music City Spin. Grab a tissue and check out these pics...

Project History:

In October of 2015, 22 cyclists rode 591 miles in 7 days from Joplin, MO to Nashville, TN. The Music City Spin bike tour, powered by JOMO Adventures, raised $60,000 to help build this transitional home for Lafayette House so that women and families in need could realize a better future. This home would not be possible without the generous donations given by the friends, families, and supporters of those adventurous tour riders.

A HUGE Thank You goes to Atlas Safe Rooms!! They have been JOMO Adventures' Premier Sponsor for 5 years. Without their monetary support and immeasurable in-kind partnerships, our life-changing adventures truly wouldn't happen.

"Atlas loves to give back to the community and those in need and we are honored to have been able to support JOMO Adventures and so many other non-profit organizations for the last 5 years," John Hunter, Vice President, Atlas Safe Rooms.

Thank you again to our biggest and longest supporter. Tomorrow is the big day! We are excited to see everyone there. If you want to take advantage of the pre-registration fee of $40 you have until 5pm today see you tomorrow!
