GREETINGS BOOKLINGS FROM THE MAYOR OF BOOKVILLE.
August 22,Saturday
…All it took for the store to start to be put back together from the wind damages eight weeks ago after the contractor finished was BOB to take a few days off and get out of the way so Amelia, Alyse and all the Bookies could go to work and what was accomplished is amazing.
…We are still a used bookstore that carries new books so when you enter our doors you will see the best used bookstore in the Midwest .
…Today we continue working to make it possible to find what your looking for, remember it’s only been eight weeks since we threw out over nine thousand pounds of books a total of 17,000-18,000 books .
….Our next project starting today is setting up a temporary location for our large inventory of SCIENCE FICTION/FANTASY , BOB was hoping the BOOK FAIRY would do it overnight but from his sources he found out that the Fairy spent the night reading books he was supposed to be shelving ( can’t depend on book fairies ) we have large boxes to move so it will go a little slow, this will free up other areas .
…This morning BOB will be meeting with a local celebrity to schedule a first time BOOK SIGNING, when she retired a few years back BOB and probably others said write a book so the first segment of her books have just been published , these are nonfiction interviews she did over many years of local and famous people, more information soon.
…NOTE to MIKE POUND you need to start and finish a few books after all we are kin.
