Friends of ALLEN WEST: HELP US find the Driver Who Caused Allen's Motorcycle Wreck. PLEASE SHARE on SOCIAL MEDIA!
By now, most of you know our friend, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Allen West, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on May 23rd. We are representing Allen for the wreckThe accident happened on northbound I-35 in West, Texas. Allen was leading a group of bikers home from a rally in Austin. The good news is Allen is recovering and continuing to spread the message of freedom and liberty. He is scheduled to undergo surgery in the coming days, but is thankful to be alive and on the mend. Thank you for all your prayers and well-wishes.
Here’s what you may not know and how you can help. The accident happened when an unknown driver dangerously cut off Allen, forcing him to slow down to avoid hitting the car that cut him off. Unfortunately, one of the bikers behind Allen did not slow down, hitting Allen’s bike and sending him tumbling down the freeway. The driver of the vehicle did not stop, and so far has not been located by police.
We are asking you to share this on social media so we can find the driver and turn his/her name and information over to DPS investigators for questioning. It is a felony in Texas to cause a collision and fail to stop and render aid. Allen doesn’t want this driver to ever do anything like this again and wants authorities to be able to question the driver about what happened. Allen’s friend and lawyer, former Tarrant County GOP Chairman Tim O’Hare, is coordinating the search for the unknown driver.
