This market has always been about more than shopping. It is about neighbors, small businesses, community, and showing up for the people who make St. Charles County special.

We celebrate the birth of Jesus once again in the midst of a world filled with uncertainties, challenges and opportunities. As I have read through Isaiah this December, we see that God's people were also in the same kind a place: a world of uncertainty, challenges and opportunities. To this people Isaiah writes, "If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all.’” (Isaiah 7:9) Great words and a reminder to us all: Our faith is not an incidental or minute part of our lives, but the very foundation of our ability to navigate in our world. A faith built on THE ROCK. And a firm faith helps us navigate our world with clarity, peace and the certainty of
God's presence: Emmanuel God with us. That was the prophets promise from God. May you be firm in your faith as we remember what God has done through Jesus.
