Just a friendly weekly reminder — all June deposits need to be paid to secure your order date. If we’ve already spoken and made prior arrangements, no worries at all!

My June calendar is filling quickly, and unfortunately no order is officially confirmed until the deposit has been received.

▪️Why do I require deposits? Because every single order is planned, prepped, and baked fresh specifically for you. I take pride in providing quality products and personalized service to each customer who supports my small business.

When cancellations happen last minute, I’m not only out the cost of ingredients, but also the time spent planning and preparing for your order. As a small business owner, I simply can’t absorb those losses the way large corporations can.

Requiring deposits is not “sketchy” — it’s part of running a professional, legitimate business that values both its customers and its work. 🫶🏼

I still cannot believe when I look back at the pictures — the professional pictures — and realize… I did that. 🥹

Never in a million years did I think that when I was asked last year to create Hope Johnson and Kody’s bridal shower cake, wedding cake, and favors, that it would actually become a reality.

My very first thought was, “You want ME to make them?”

The self-doubt was loud. The fear was real. I questioned if I was capable, talented enough, or even deserving of such a huge opportunity.

But somewhere along this journey, I started trusting myself more. I started realizing that God doesn’t place opportunities in front of us by accident. He opens doors in His timing — not ours — and all we can do is walk through them with faith.

Looking back now, I see so much more than beautiful cakes and pictures. I see growth. I see confidence I never used to have. I see prayers being answered in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

A year ago, I would have talked myself out of it. Today, I’m learning to trust the process, trust my talent, and most importantly, trust God’s timing through it all. 🤍
