DanGood Garden

DanGood Garden Dangood Garden is a small vegetable production business in Johnston, Iowa. I grow a large mix of heirlooms and newer varieties of plants.

The garden spans five acres and only organic methods and inputs are used in the garden. Dangood Garden is committed to learning as much as possible about diverse foods and sustainable methods of farming. I also like to introduce my customers to unfamiliar vegetables or ways of cooking as I learn. The time between harvest to a customer taking home their food is always kept short. I strive to play a

prominent role in Iowa's quickly growing local food economy and add to the restaurant culture in the Des Moines metro. My produce can be purchased at the Des Moines Farmers' Market, where my stand is located on 4th Street across from Fong's Pizza. I also sell through the Iowa Food Cooperative: http://iowafood.coop/shop/product_list.php?producer_id=Dangg. More opportunities to find our food in local restaurants will be anounced in 2016.
