Designs in Clay These multi-colored patterns are created by caning translucent and colored polymer clays, resulting in vibrant designs.

Polymer clay can be used in many different ways, but my main focus is in caneworking. In this technique, a long roll is created by stacking individual rolls, triangles, etc. until you achieve a design that runs the full length of the cylinder. I create translucent canes, which are then applied to glass to achieve a luminous effect. I have recently started a jewelry line utilizing my cane slices to create fun, lightweight earrings and necklaces.
