Wow

These fish create such an obsession!! 🐕🦷🐟

I pulled the trigger once all week on this dogtooth tuna for us to eat, and refused to shoot again until there was one well over 150lbs. That opportunity did not present itself and although I saw dozens of big fish, it's good knowing that even in these insanely remote places like .island the big ones are still hard to get!!

"Northern Whitetail Buck" I have recently been in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan photographing the big northern whitetail deer. This is one of several larger bucks I managed to photograph. The weather was warmer than I had hoped for which made finding the deer more difficult. Feel free to share if you wish.

"Lunch Time Along the River" This time of year is so much fun for me. I am able to get sunrises without getting up in the early hours of the mornings. Also, I am able to easily find the bears I so much enjoy photographing! I have observed and photographed these three bears for a week or so now. It is really enjoyable to observe them going about the business of fattening up for the winter. The two cubs aren't shy when it comes to getting in the water and grabbing fish and eating salmon. The three of them should be in excellent condition for their winter hibernation. Photographed on Haida Gwaii, BC, Canada. Feel free to share.

"November Orcas" Yesterday I was really lucky to be able to see and photograph a family group of Orcas. After a heads up from a friend, I headed down to the beech along the main road in Sandspit and immediately spotted the group slowly traveling and feeding. I believe there were four whales in the group, a larger male, two females and a calf. I managed to get many photos during this opportunity. Photographed on Haida Gwaii, BC, Canada. Feel free to share.
