No matter how small always remember every action that you take on the DAILY has an impact on our future as a planet

APRIL IS EARTH MONTH 🌎 Did you know Americans use 4 million plastic bottles EVERY HOUR? And only 25% of them are recycled….What can you do to encourage other people to recycle their plastic bottles or use a more sustainable option all together? I.e glass, aluminum, stainless steel?

Im baaaaaack! I’ve taken some much needed time away but I’m excited to get back into the swing of things! 🥰💛

It’s a fresh month & a fresh start! ✨

I don’t know about you guys but I absolutely love the feeling of a fresh month. I have my bee calendar & every month there is a new flower picture with bee facts which is always a nice surprise 🐝

To start my morning and month off on the right foot I did some muchhh needed journaling. It’s crazy how much better I feel once I get all of the circulating thoughts and feelings onto a piece of paper 📝

A few of you asked so here are my beginning of the month journal prompts:

✨What are you proud of from this past month?

✨What would you like to release and what would you like to welcome into the new month? (I created two circles shown on the next picture. It was kinda fun to make it an activity)

This is your weekly reminder to take of the essentials in life!⁣

Taking care of my body, mind and obviously the earth are 3 things I incorporate into my daily routine. Right now that may seem daunting I know we are all just struggling to get out of the bed in the morning but it’s a lot easier than you think! ⁣
⁣
Whether it’s incorporating a yoga/stretch routine in the morning or going for a daily walk. Moving our body daily is crucial for not only our physical health but our mental health as well! It all flows together. And while your outside pick up some trash you might spot in nature 😉 All my know what I’m talking about.⁣

Below are some tips that I use myself to take care of all three of my homes, especially in the winter! I challenge you to try at least one! ⁣
⁣
🌿Get up and stretch every hour ⁣
🌿Write a list of 10 positive affirmations everyday ⁣
🌿 Journal at the end of a crazy day ⁣
🌿 Get outside for a 20 min walk at 2-3 times a week ⁣
🌿Pick up trash when you are out and about (it takes 5 seconds!)⁣
🌿Use reusable bags, bottles and jars ⁣
🌿Treat yourself to one dance break a day and play your favorite song to pump you up!⁣
🌿Switch to ’s search engine! It plants a tree every time you search 🌳

This is not the most “Instagramable”photo I’ve ever posted but that’s ok because it’s real…

(Yes that is a sauce jar and a Trader Joe’s Juice Container. I use for my shampoo and conditioner) 🤣🤣🤣

Welcome to a a peak inside my bathroom & shower products!

I will say my shower game is on point and I’m pretty proud of that journey 👏🏼 I love exploring how I can be more eco-friendly in the bathroom!

But there are a lot of things you don’t see! There is still a plastic razor along with my stainless steel safety razor

I just bought that giant tub of cetaphil because my skin needs it my facial cleanser is in a plastic tube and you know what I’m okay with it.

I’m not perfect nor do I strive to be every day I am making tiny swaps to find what works and what doesn’t work.

I was gifted a which are great instead of Q-tips! I refill my shampoo and Condition at refill shops! I use a bar of soap now instead of body wash!

My organizers are either glass or wood I’ve stopped buying those ugly looking plastic organizers ❌❌❌

I even made some DIY face toner from roses and ACV (I made a reel on that)

I know a lot of you are striving to be better and beauty products are one of the hardest markets to be sustainable in but I am here to help with ANY and EVERY question about what’s in my bathroom.

Can you do it ?

Did you know that nearly 8 million single use coffee cup are used A DAY in the U.S. alone and only 4% are recycled 😬😬

YIKES!

Let’s work together to be conscious to make coffee at home or if you really need to get coffee out bring a reusable mug!

Or maybe even ask your local coffee shop if they would consider using compostable cups or a recycled plastic option!

Nothing will change unless we start making changes and speak up!

NEW YEAR, NEW...TOOTHBRUSH? Seriously though...when was the last time you switched out your toothbrush? If it’s been more than three months or you can’t remember you might wanna take care of that today. 😂

CHOOSE A CHALLENGE: Are you up for it?

Each week I will be suggesting something new to try. NOW do not feel overwhelmed these are all simply suggestions of things you can implement to start the year off on the right foot OVERTIME.

Heck I would be ecstatic if you chose just one thing to swap in for the entire year!

This month is a season of change, refresh and restart. THE key with starting over and turning a new leaf is speed. Slowww changes overtime make overall lasting impact.

So ask yourself what’s one section of your life that you would like to slowly turn into a more eco friendly way of life? Is it any of the above suggestions? Is it something else!?
