She’s been waiting to join the collective for some time—and we’re so proud to finally welcome her.

As our more experienced Bibis grow into independent work, it creates space for us to partner with new mothers beginning their journey.

Bibi R. is from Kandahar Province. She arrived with her husband and five children—now tweens and teens—building a new life here. Her husband works at a grocery store while also taking on construction jobs, and her eldest son, now a sophomore in high school, works part-time at a clothing store.

She is motivated to contribute to her family’s income—and this piece is part of that story.
