Some real talk about a law you probably haven't heard about yet.

Congress passed a h**p provision (Section 781) that changes how legal h**p is measured. Instead of capping it by percentage, it sets a hard ceiling on what we'll politely call hippie calories: 0.4mg per container. The practical effect: most full-spectrum CBD, including a lot of legitimate products, would be non-compliant.

There's about a one-year runway before it takes effect, so nothing disappears overnight.

Here's where we stand. We started Made By H**p in 2013, in a basement in Rockford, Michigan. Some of our full-spectrum products are affected too, and we're not going to pretend they aren't. But we never built this business on the gas-station loophole. No knockoff intoxicants dressed up as h**p. So we're adapting, shifting toward formulas that clear the new rule, and we'll keep you posted in plain English on what changes and what stays.

Same company, 2 years apart.

13 years ago this month, I started Made By H**p out of Michigan.

Most people had never heard of CBD. The mission was simple: help 5 people a month.

It turned into a much bigger company. Then it imploded. I'm 25 months into digging out of $1M in debt, and I should have thrown in the towel two years ago.

I didn't.

Still here. Still full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, isolate. Still made in the US. Still picking up the phone when you call.

13 years of receipts. Year 14 starts now.
