Who’s ready for the ocean coho season to open? Should be a decent season. Not sure if it will be like last year landing 50 salmon in an 1.5-2 hour time period. I’ll have select dates avail for salmon. Some days I’ll be doing morning and afternoon trips. 541-971-6745 text is best or leave VM as I don’t carry my phone on me most of the time. Odfw has released the 2022 spring and summer halibut dates. I will be booking trips 3-4 days a week some weeks more some less as it’s open 7 days a week. I will be getting dates in the next day or two. If your wanting to get it in this great fishery let me know ASAP as the days I’ll have will not last! I have booked up solid for halibut the past 4-5 years and have produced limits most trips.

Columbia sea lion managers report they have now lethally removed a total of 35 Stellers and 29 Californias under summer 2020's federal authorization as part of a bid to reduce pinniped predation on ESA-listed salmon, steelhead and other stocks in the big river.

Not too bad of a day!! Great ocean & weather!!!! We all know these are not the biggest of halibuts but these are the better eating sizes. We also got a few bonus salmon on the way back in!! I have seats avail!!! Give us a call @541-971-6745

The salmon are stuffed full of feed. The ocean is loaded w feed. We have found large crab and spotted prawns in the bellies of halibut and sole.

I have been horrible about taking pics and posting them. It’s been. Great season for halibut and salmon, when the ocean allows us to get out. We of course have had a couple rough trips just like any other fisherman. Here are a few pics of what we have landed. We did land a giant skate that was atleast 5-6’ from tip to tip. It was all I could do to reel this in. I thought we were hung on the bottom till I got it off the bottom. It never fought twitched shook its head honestly I thought I had a big rock! I have open seats for halibut, ocean salmon and river salmon in September. Give us a call @ 541-971-6745
