The 2026 season officially came to a close for us! π
We missed our highest producing season by 30 gallons but banked 1,000 gallons more than 2025. Struggled to find parts after one of the burners went out in the arch, with one day left of sap we decided to pull the plug. Thatβs farming!
We are tired, proud and already planning our goals for next season. Sealing that last barrel of syrup is bittersweet, a hard fought season with some breakdowns and a late start for us being so cold here in Jefferson. March was a beast and we basically lived in the sugarhouse while finishing 5,000 gallons for that month alone. The kids were champs. They helped willingly and certainly keep us going during those long days. Family is certainly at the heart of what we do.
We have 2026 syrup in our little farm store and canβt wait to catch up with our customers. As always, thanks for following along and supporting our little dream here on North Rd! From our equipment customers to our regulars who stop in with a Mason jar for their fresh syrup, and everybody in between, we couldnβt do it without you! π
Now time to pull 11,000 taps! π
