The award winning Wilson’s Candy Company, Inc. has been providing western Pennsylvania with quality chocolates and candies for three generations. Smoothed for two days, our rich, flavorful milk chocolate is comprised of real cream and the best cocoa beans available. The semi-sweet dark chocolate is 54% dark cocoa, and our ivory chocolate is real chocolate made of cocoa butter, never waxy compound

coating. We have also been receiving many allergy information requests recently. We are an organization that utilizes peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten on all of our manufacturing equipment. Please make sure that you check with your medical care provider if you ever have a safety question concerning allergens.

For everyone asking what’s happening at our Eastgate location…

Yes, we’re cutting our hours down for Summer to Saturday only (10 AM–3 PM).

No, we’re not disappearing.
No, we’re not hiding.
No, we didn’t get lost in a sea of chocolate.

We’re moving into a BIGGER location, which means you all have permission to start dramatically screaming into the void and getting ridiculously excited. 🍫✨

Until then:
📍 Eastgate: Saturday • 10 AM–3 PM

📍 Jeannette:
Monday–Friday • 9 AM–6 PM
Saturday • 10 AM–4 PM
Sunday • Closed (even chocolate needs a day off).

We’ve had a lot of questions about the parking lot next to our Jeannette store, so here’s the scoop!

Yes, we share the lot with Sign Stat. During business hours, Wilson Candy customers are welcome to park there and safely walk over using the same side.

We know Harrison Avenue can get busy, and finding a spot isn’t always easy. If the spaces directly in front of the store are full, you have our permission to use the shared lot while you shop. 💜🔥

You may notice signs that say “Park at Your Own Risk.” Those signs are there to protect the property from ongoing metal scrapping and other after-hours issues—they are not meant to discourage Wilson Candy customers.

If Sign Stat is closing the gate for the day, they always check the store first, so you will never be locked in while you’re shopping.

🍫✨ New to the Wilson Candy family? Here’s a little history to make your chocolate even sweeter. ✨🍫

Wilson Candy has been a Western Pennsylvania tradition since February 12, 1947, when siblings Paul and Margaret Wilson opened a small candy shop known as Peggy Jane Candies. Their passion for quality confections and handcrafted sweets quickly earned a loyal following.

In 1953, the business became Wilson Candy Company, continuing the same commitment to creating chocolates and candies made with care and tradition.

Just one year later, in 1954, Wilson Candy introduced the iconic Wunder Bar, a signature candy that has become a local favorite and a beloved part of the company’s history for generations.

For 79 years, Wilson Candy has remained family-owned and dedicated to making handcrafted chocolates, cordials, clusters, creams, caramels, pretzels, seasonal favorites, and so much more. Many of the recipes and techniques have been passed down through generations, making every box of candy a little piece of local history.

Whether you’ve been enjoying Wilson Candy for decades or you’re just becoming a Wilson Candy-holic, thank you for being part of a tradition that’s been making life sweeter since 1947. Here’s to 79 years of chocolate, community, and creating memories—one bite at a time. 🍫💜
