Inspired by the large blank walls in my dorm rooms at the University of Montevallo and motivated by my lack of decorating funds, I decided to make inexpensive art for myself. My very first word banner was a quote from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and it was always a hit with friends who visited my room. After some requests from my sorority sisters (hey Alpha Gams!) and a year and a half late

r, my Etsy store now features my handmade banners! I am heavily influenced by pop culture, as you will notice in the quotes that I feature. I'm also a huge proponent for expressing your individuality and personality in your living/working quarters. My banners are a fun and interesting way to put your interests on display. I am slowly but surely getting caught back up in my life. There's been a lack of posting due to me adjusting to my pretty busy schedule! A little bit about what I've been up to: I started my first full-time job out of college this month in addition to my other 2 part time jobs (aside from HunnyHolla)! I am a full-time Marketing Coordinator for a storage solutions company, I work box office at my FAVORITE concert venue, and am a Digital Producer for a website dedicated to the city I love - Bham Now. Some days I'm running ragged and others I (feel like I) have it in check. Today I'm leaning towards the latter!

Anyway, these orders are fresh in the mail with another batch coming soon. Thankful for all of the opportunities I have to do what I enjoy.

Last week was a local high school's homecoming week and I was trusted to provide some banners for the festivities! The top banner was the largest one I have ever made, and it was hung in the school lobby. The bottom two made their debut in the parade! I'm lucky to personally know the Principal, Paige Skalnik, and I give her MIGHTY thanks for letting me be a part of this tradition. But most of all, I thank her for caring so much about her community!! Go Bulldogs!💙💛

Funny story, I didn't actually go to this high school, rather another local one. I had never been inside this school before, and had no idea of the layout. I saw a student and blurted out the first thing I needed to know, "hey, where's the principal's office???" I got some strange looks and especially when I was waiting in the office😂 but hey, I don't mind looking 17 as long as I can use my student ID discount forever.
