Last July, I moved and then proceeded to have an entire year of "firsts." I don't want it to end. So here I am, my first hotel gym workout on vacation as an adult. I felt completely confiden, competent, and had another first! 10 minutes on the elliptical WITHOUT PAUSING TO BREATHE 🙌
Also, as I did lunges with 10's I remember telling during our first session that I didn't feel confident doing lunges. I totally didn't trust my body. Lots of work left to do, but I FEEL so much better. She gets all the credit!

Today, I'm here to correct the record on two fronts.

1. In my last fitness post, I said it was 8 or 9 weeks before I enjoyed working out. Well, I just have to say: Time must fly when you're having fun because I've only been doing this for 10 weeks 🤣🙄 So, to set the record straight, it was probably about 8 SESSIONS/4 weeks before I started feeling truly confident and excited about working out. Not 8 weeks.

2. We've done a lot more Zoom sessions than gym sessions. Mainly, it's been too hot. Also, I had to get my confidence up before I could set foot in the gym. Tonight, Ray fell before I headed to the gym, and I felt like I needed to be here. Today's killer workout with was Zoom, a yoga mat, and two resistance bands. Trust me when I say that going to the bathroom is gonna be a killer for at least two days.

I was so excited to see Lydia's reaction to my visit, that I didn't even think about the horses. I was so sick on my visit in December I didn't even see them. Guys, they remembered me 😭 Of course they did. I can't count how many hours I spent with Lynx and Joe over the last 20 years. And I got to meet all their new friends!

And yes, I went to the horse len in my pajamas 🤷‍♀️
