What a Sunday Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Jacksonville! 13 baptisms and 10 new members joined our faith community today! The presence of God was so palpable in the room. ☀️ 💦 🙌🏾

It’s all about being kingdom-minded, and today was a powerful reminder of what happens when we make room for the presence of God. The Spirit moved in a mighty way—lives were changed, hearts were renewed, and the atmosphere was filled with His glory.

We are grateful. We are growing. We are Saint Paul.

❤️ Today marks a new chapter in my journey as I step into the role of Executive Pastor of Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Jacksonville. I am incredibly honored and humbled by this opportunity to serve in a larger leadership capacity at such an amazing church- as I also confinue oversight of media, communications and branding.

I’m eager to work alongside our Pastor and team , and continue empowering others as we pursue our collective vision. I will handle a large portion of administration while also leading the ex*****on and programs and experiences that fit with our vision mission.

Thank you to my husband and Pastor Willie Barnes Jr. for the opportunity and allowing me to shine in a roow fit for my talents. To my baby girl , thank you for always cheering mommy on, and to my parents Supervisor Marlaa MeShon Hall Reid& Bishop Frank Madison Reid III thank you for being pioneers in ministry and an example or Kingdom Excellence. It’s an honor to take the torch and stand in my gifting and legacy.

I feel immensely loved. I am grateful and at peace about all God has in store❤️. Thank you Willie Barnes Jr. For doing so many things for me this week I never would’ve done for myself 🤧. Thank you to these two, and all of you who made this birthday one for the books. Harleaux is a consistent reminder of God’s love for me as she sang me happy birthday almost energy hour and encouraged everyone we met to join in on the celebration 🎊. I couldn’t of asked for a better way to ring in 30+. Turning up with a 4 year old and her dad 🤣❤️🥹.

Our Casting Call for “Christmas Unwrapped: A Live Talk Show Special” is tomorrow!

We are excited to announce a unique and engaging skit that will showcase the true meaning of Christmas through a fun talk show format featuring Mary and Joseph! We need your help to bring this vision to life!

Audition Details:
Date: 10/22 & 10/24
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Sanctuary

What to Prepare:
For acting roles, a short monologue or improvisation piece. See Bro. Davon Jamison for audition inquiries/more information or just show up!

The LIVE production will take place Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 6:30PM.

This Christmas production will feature our mass choir, men’s choir, young adult choir, children’s choir, dance team, drama team and band all coming together to celebrate the joy and hope of the Christmas season.
