Bright colors and artwork with actual personality.

fruitfxpedals doesn’t look like much else on the pedal wall, and that’s part of what got us curious.
Then we plugged them in.

The same personality carries over to the sound. These aren’t pedals that make you think about where they fit into a category. You turn a few k***s, play something, and pretty quickly you’re hearing ideas you weren’t getting five minutes ago.

That’s the fun of them.

If your board already handles all the serious stuff, maybe it’s got room for something that makes you curious again.

Come spend some time with FruitFX at Crazy Dave’s Music.

Ever step on a fuzz and wonder where your bass went?

That’s exactly what the Electro-Harmonix Bass Big M**f Pi 2 is built around.

You still get that thick, nasty Big M**f fuzz, but the low end stays part of the conversation. Blend your clean signal back in, hit the Bass Boost when you need more weight, or push the Sustain and let it get properly filthy.

We like it because bass fuzz should make your rig sound bigger, not make you disappear when the rest of the band comes in.

If you love the Big M**f thing but refuse to give up the low end that makes your bass feel like a bass, spend some time with this one.

Come plug into the EHX Bass Big M**f Pi 2 at Crazy Dave’s Music.

Modelers can get complicated fast.

That’s why the Blackstar Amplification ID:X Floor Two caught our attention. It gives you a ton to work with without making you disappear into menus every time you want to change something.

You’ve got plenty of amp sounds, effects, CabRig speaker simulation, bass and acoustic options, and enough flexibility to run direct or work it into the rig you already have.

Honestly, the k***s are what sold us.

Most of what you want to mess with is right there in front of you. Build a sound, save it, and get back to playing.

If you’ve been curious about modelers but don’t want your guitar rig turning into a computer project, come check this one out in the showroom.

We think you’ll get it pretty quickly.

That Water Temple finish is hard to ignore.

The Ernie Ball Music Man Jason Richardson Cutlass HH in Water Temple is one of those.
The buckeye burl top and blue-green finish already make it hard to ignore, but that’s only part of why we brought it in.

Once you start playing, it makes a lot more sense. The roasted maple neck feels fast, the stainless steel frets stay smooth under your hands, and the Jason Richardson humbuckers keep things clear even when the gain starts piling up.

Then you’ve got the built-in boost and coil split when you need a little more out of the same guitar.
If you’re the kind of player who likes modern guitars that can handle a lot without making you fight them, this one’s worth some time.

Come spend a few minutes with the Jason Richardson Cutlass HH in Water Temple at Crazy Dave’s Music.

Bass rigs can get complicated fast.

That’s why we brought in the Darkglass Electronics ANAGRAM.

This thing can basically become the center of your whole rig. Build your tones, save them for different parts of the set, run NAM models and IRs, get into all the Darkglass goodness you’d expect, and go as deep with the routing as you want.

But here’s what we really like about it: you don’t have to be a menu-diving nerd to enjoy it.

You can build a killer bass rig, save it, and get back to playing.

If you’ve been looking at your pedalboard lately thinking, “There’s gotta be an easier way to do this,” come mess with the ANAGRAM in the showroom.

We think you’ll get it pretty quickly.

If you’ve spent enough time building pedalboards, you know the stuff underneath the pedals matters just as much as what’s on top.

That’s why we’re excited to have Voodoo Lab in the shop.

Good power, solid pedalboard solutions, and the kind of gear that helps everything else in your rig do its job without becoming the thing you have to think about.

If you’re putting together a new board, cleaning up the one you already have, or finally fixing that power situation you’ve been ignoring, come take a look at what we brought in.

Voodoo Lab is now available at Crazy Dave’s Music. Come spend a few minutes with the lineup and see what your board’s been missing.

If you know bass, you know James Jamerson.

And this is one we were pretty excited to get on the wall.

The Fender James Jamerson 1962 Precision Bass is a reminder that you really don’t need much. One pickup. Volume. Tone. La Bella flats. That’s it.

But plug it in and there it is. That deep P-Bass thump, the definition, and that old-school feel that makes you want to sit in the pocket and stay there.

That’s why we wanted this one at Crazy Dave’s. It’s not about having more options. It’s about having the right sound under your fingers.

And honestly, this is one you need to play, not read about.

Come by the showroom, plug it in, and spend some time with it.

An Esquire with two pickups sounds like a contradiction.

That’s exactly why this one caught our attention.

We brought in this Fender FSR Vintera ’60s Double Esquire because it keeps that stripped-down, straight-into-the-amp Fender attitude, but gives you more room to work with.

The Road Worn nitro finish and early-’60s neck give it a broken-in feel from the first chord. Then the Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster pickups bring the dry snap, upper-mid bark, and note separation that make a good Tele-style guitar hard to put down.

What we like most is how much it responds to the player.

Dig in and it gets sharp and a little rude. Back off your right hand and it stays clear and wiry. Put it through an amp on the edge of breakup, and your pick attack and volume k**b do most of the work.

If you like guitars that make you play differently instead of covering everything up, this one will make sense pretty quickly.

Come plug in the Fender FSR Vintera ’60s Double Esquire at Crazy Dave’s Music.
We’ll hand you a cable and let the Nocasters make their case.

Ever love a Electro-Harmonix Big M**f by itself… then lose it the second the whole band comes in?

That’s exactly why the Deluxe Big M**f Pi 2 earned a spot in the shop.

It still gives you the huge sustain and grinding op-amp fuzz you want from a M**f, but the footswitchable mids section lets you decide where that sound sits. Push the mids when you need to cut through. Pull them back when you want the full wall-of-fuzz treatment.

What we like most is that it can get wild without turning into a blurry mess. The blend control keeps some pick attack in the picture, the gate reins in the noise, and the Wicker switch adds top-end bite when the fuzz starts feeling too dark.

And holding the footswitch for a quick burst of fuzz mayhem?

That’s every bit as fun as it sounds.

If you’ve always loved the size of a Big M**f but wanted more control over how it behaves in a mix, come give the Deluxe Big M**f Pi 2 a spin at Crazy Dave’s Music.

A Telecaster in Diamond Dust Sparkle is going to get your attention.

The real question is whether it can back it up.

We brought in the 75th Anniversary Player II Telecaster because this one has more going for it than a special finish.

The neck feels comfortable right away. The rolled fingerboard edges make it easy to settle into, and the Thunderbolt pickups give you that clear Tele snap with a little more punch behind it.

What we like most is that Fender didn’t mess with what makes a Tele work.

They just gave players a version that feels familiar in the hands and looks nothing like the usual one hanging on the wall.

If you’ve been looking for a Tele with classic character and a little more presence, come play the 75th Anniversary Player II at Crazy Dave’s Music.

See whether it sounds as good as it looks.
