PRH Indie FOC Highlights — October 26

A sinister hoodie, another death for Dr. Rose, and Judge Dredd meeting the Biker Mice from Mars. That last one sounds like someone smashed two action figures together—and we absolutely support it.

STUFF OF NIGHTMARES: THE HOODIE #1
The nightmare continues with a new tale centered on an ordinary-looking hoodie that is almost certainly anything but ordinary. Perhaps leave this one hanging in the closet.

LADY BALTIMORE: THE CONSTANT DEATH OF DR. ROSE #1
Lady Baltimore returns for another gothic adventure filled with monsters, dark magic, and the troublingly frequent deaths of Dr. Rose.

JUDGE DREDD/BIKER MICE FROM MARS #1
Mega-City One’s toughest lawman crosses paths with three motorcycle-riding mice from Mars. Justice is coming—and apparently, it brought cheese.

Marvel FOC Highlights — October 26

Infernal Hulk takes on the Avengers, Punisher clashes with Winter Soldier, and Wolverine heads into another dark age. Marvel’s conflict-resolution department remains completely useless.

INFERNAL HULK VS. AVENGERS #1
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes stand between the Infernal Hulk and total destruction. They have handled impossible threats before—but this one comes with considerably more rage and fire.

MAXIMUM X-MEN #1
The X-Men go maximum in a brand-new #1 packed with mutant action. Apparently, regular-sized X-Men trouble was no longer enough.

PUNISHER SHOWDOWNS: WINTER SOLDIER #1
Frank Castle faces Bucky Barnes in a showdown between two heavily armed men carrying enough trauma to fill several support groups.

VENOM: P.O.V. #1
Experience Venom from a different perspective in a story that brings readers closer to the symbiote’s dark, dangerous world. Personal space was never really an option.

WOLVERINE: ORIGIN III — THE DARK AGE #1
Another chapter of Logan’s past is uncovered as the ORIGIN saga enters THE DARK AGE. Wolverine has lived several lifetimes—and very few of them have been pleasant.

Lunar Indie FOC Highlights — October 26

Aliens, flesh-eating cheerleaders, fang hunters, sinister magazines, and one extremely suspicious egg hunt—the Lunar indie list has embraced beautiful B-movie chaos.

PLAN 79 FROM OUTER SPACE #1
A new invasion begins with a title that proudly wears its cult sci-fi inspiration on its sleeve. Apparently, the first 78 plans did not get the job done.

FLESH-EATING CHEERLEADERS: SPRING BREAK #1
The flesh-eating cheerleaders head out for spring break. Sun, sand, and snacks take on a considerably more disturbing meaning.

AXA #1
AXA begins a new adventure packed with action, danger, and a heroine ready to fight her way through whatever this world throws at her.

MINISTER SINISTER MAGAZINE #1
The Minister opens the doors to a sinister new magazine filled with dark artwork, strange stories, and material for readers who prefer things slightly unwell.

FANG HUNTERS #1
A new hunt begins—and judging by the title, something with very sharp teeth has officially become the target.

EGG HUNT #1
This is not the cheerful little Easter activity you remember. Something is waiting to be found, and leaving it hidden may have been the smarter choice.

DC FOC Highlights — October 26

DC has one brand-new holiday special and one gritty crime classic returning in trade paperback. Festive misbehavior followed by bullets—just as Santa intended.

DC’S NAUGHTY LIST #1
Some of DC’s heroes and villains have landed on the naughty list in a new holiday special. Expect seasonal chaos, questionable behavior, and considerably more fighting than the average office Christmas party.

100 BULLETS: FIRST SHOT, LAST CALL TP
Enter the dark, dangerous world of 100 BULLETS with the story that started it all. Crime, conspiracy, revenge, and one very tempting offer come together in this acclaimed noir series.

One for the holiday crowd. One for readers who prefer their Christmas spirit served with a loaded briefcase.
