The Dog and Suds was a franchise eatery run by a local fella by the name of Fred Hudgens. He had a few locations around town and beyond such as on Raymond Rd and in Candlestick Park (13 total in Mississippi).
Later on, all of his locations became what folks now remember as Hudgey’s. Many remember the last location that was in Cook Center in South Jackson. These restaurants were more famously known in the era of 1964-2015
