Made the sweetest vintage Winnie the Pooh inspired by Pottery Barn’s adorable Pooh Bear bedding 🥹 and icing on top was that it was for a dear high school friend! I loved making this cutie and cannot wait to make him again!

Still hoping to get Eeyore made one of these days, life has just been lifing hard over here 😅😮‍💨 but crochet helps keep my mind busy and my emotions grounded!! 🙌🏻

💕 Hello from the sweetest little lamb 💕

Life has been wild these past two weeks and I haven’t really known what day it is…our four year old was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital with ITP (immune thrombocytopenia) which is an immune response triggered by a viral infection (like the common cold) that causes your body to begin to destroy your own platelets. We were in the hospital for a week and 5 of those days my husband was out of the country…we have been home for almost a week now and have been back to the hospital twice for blood work. So far our son’s platelet counts have not come up and have stayed below 3,000 (average count for a 4 year old is 150,000-450,000). Due to his low counts he is at high risk of spontaneous internal cranial bleeding which has been terrifying…we have started some other medicines this week to try to get his counts above 10,000 which will then eliminate the spontaneous bleeding risk. The doctors are hopeful that this is a one off thing and not a life long diagnosis but it takes time for his body to heal so we still have a long road ahead to get back to his baseline. In the meantime he cannot jump, climb, wrestle, play on playgrounds, do contact sports…anything that could risk injury.

This has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to walk through as a parent and nothing can prepare you for one day having a healthy child and the next being in the hospital for over a week only to be discharged with a still sick child. I have felt like I can’t focus on anything, even crochet, so thank you for all the messages of encouragement and for your prayers. We know the Lord has a plan for our sweet boy and we are trusting him to protect our baby and heal him.

I may not be as present here in the days to come as we navigate this but had to pop in to update everyone and to share this precious little lamb that brings a smile to my face every time I see it! 🥹

Is there any character as nostalgic as Pooh? 🥹🥰

I remember my grandmother had a full collection of miniature Winnie the Pooh books at her house when I was young. She always would read them to us before bed when we stayed with her and I have such sweet memories all snuggled up with my siblings and cousins on our pallet on the floor 😅 listening to her read to us the stories of Pooh and his friends in the hundred acre woods!

I am slowly but surely planning to crochet the entire Pooh Bear gang and have them as a made to order listing in my shop but if you are interested in placing an order for a certain character before then you can fill out the custom order form linked in my profile!

We are so back y’all!! ☺️🙌🏻✨

Seriously last year felt like a blur…we had our fourth baby (who we adore)…I began a journey of personal healing for some big and heavy things in my own life that required my full attention…I was mama to four kids, three of which are getting more involved in extracurriculars and activities outside of school and one has been breastfeeding exclusively…I held down the fort while my husband traveled out of the country for work more times than I can count….it was a hard year and this space had to be set aside somewhat.

I’ve tried to find my place here yet again and felt like I got left behind a little bit. The motivation and inspiration to crochet just wasn’t there…it felt like a chore which made me so sad.

BUT the past couple weeks I’ve felt so refreshed. I’m inspired, I’m waking up early to sneak in stitches before tiny humans need breakfast, I’m writing patterns, I’m chatting with some of my fav creators about life, it feels good.

So here’s to my crojo finally returning after nearly a year of elusively slipping through my fingers! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 thank ya Lord!

Give me a baby pattern…melt my heart every time! 🥹

I’m seeing more and more crochet maker friends use the embroidered sleepy eyes and I’m LOVING it. The sweetness factor just shoots through the roof with a little sleepy eye right?! 🥲

This pattern from is absolutely adorable! No sew 🙌🏻, works up so quick, and is just precious as a gift but also perfect for pretend play!!
