Sad to say, Silver Moon Collectibles at Old Pioneer Market is Going Out of Business! My last day will be April 30, and I am slashing prices in the hope of not having to pack anything up to bring home!

GRAND OPENING WEEKEND AT OLD PIONEER! Yep. It's a big weekend at The Old Pioneer Market. Ashley and the crew have all sorts of cool things planned, but I'm especially excited that the Mudcat Food Truck is going to be on the lot Saturday. As for my Silver Moon Collectibles Booth (conveniently located across from the Checkout Desk!) I made some MAJOR revisions yesterday with the help of my incredible friend Daryl. I decided to get my personal ceramic mask collection from storage and tag them for sale.

Also new, we added a fourth display rack for Round Two of China of the Month. The Red Wing Magnolia is gone, and in its place is a very, very, very RARE 8 place setting of 1950s Salem China Co "Moon Flower." The art design -- a vibrant red cone flower -- is just exceptional. It's another square (rounded edge) setting that also includes a large platter and vegetable bowl. Take a look at the pictures!

Speaking of pictures, I'm adding a whole slew of new ones -- If your Dad's a golfer, be sure to check out the last photo--it's a great set of Golfer Wine Corks in a wooden box. Would make a perfect gift for any Dad.

Week Three! Spent some time at The Old Pioneer Market this afternoon "plugging holes" in places where things have sold, and will be going back tomorrow to (hopefully) add a new etrangere full of beautiful glassware. But at the moment, here are some photos of what's in the booth at the moment.

It's official! I now have a lovely booth in the newly relocated The Old Pioneer Market at 2370 N. High Street in Jackson, Missouri.

With the help of my dear, dear, dear friend Daryl, the booth was laid out and populated in time for the Memorial Day opening last Friday.

I admit I'm probably prejudiced, but I truly think I have the best location in the entire Market, just 20 feet left of the front door, just past the check out counter! It's bright and sunny and filled with what I hope will be an ever-evolving array of Vintage, Antiques & Collectibles. Please come check out the amazing new Market and Silver Moon Collectibles soon!

Had a great first month with my new Display Bookcase at The Old Pioneer Market in Jackson, MO. I led off with what I hope to make a continuing feature -- China of the Month. I sold a set of rare Lenox Temperware, and have followed that up with a New Stock vintage service for four from Red Wing Pottery. The pattern is the magnificent "Magnolia." I love "square" dishes, and this set is just gorgeous. Come to The Old Pioneer Market and see for yourself.

I'm so excited! I decided that 2023 would be the year I get back to displaying some of the Vintage, Antiques and Collectibles I've been accumulating for more years than I want to recall!

I'm starting small with a Bookcase Display at The Old Pioneer Market at 2008 West Jackson Blvd in Jackson Missouri. It's an amazing place and I'm happy to be there.

I'll be filling up the display tomorrow evening (Saturday), and will post a picture or two. Look for my Silver Moon logo!

It's never a good thing when the Auctioneer knows your name, and I have the picture (and the lamps) to prove it. I was very restrained for the first two hours of the auction I went to last Saturday night, but those lamps...they were definitely a mistake. Three of the ugliest lamps you've ever seen in your life are now sitting in my living room.

It's not that they're big. Or that they're made of wood... I think it's the HUGE, letter "B" that's been carved and hand painted on them in ornate Gothic calligraphy.

The auctioneer was doing his usual patter, trying his best to get a two dollar bid started, and when NO ONE bit, he singled me out of the crowd and worked my name into his patter. He called my name. How could I refuse?

Know anyone whose name begins with a "B" who wants a couple of ugly lamps? Cheap?
