August is the perfect time to give your landscape a little TLC! 🌿

Here’s a great checklist to reference for your August landscape to-do’s.

We have a great selection of daylilies, canna lilies, liriope, and ajuga. Stop by Hutto’s, and let one of our seasoned team members help you find the perfect plants for your landscape!💚

Here’s your landscape checklist for August, BUT please be safe!

Try not to be out in the hottest part of the day. Instead, do your garden work in the early morning or late evening to avoid high temperatures. Stay hydrated and protect your skin!

Some tasks to consider:

Plant daylilies.
Divide and transplant Louisiana iris, Easter lily, canna, liriope, ajuga, and Shasta Daisy.
Plant mums for fall blooms.
Water plants and turf deeply and infrequently.
Watch for garden pests and diseases.
Prune rose canes to encourage growth.
