Roar V***r is Closing
Hey everyone, it's Mike. You haven't heard from me in a couple of months and I'm very sorry about that. On July 9th, my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Since then, I've become guardian of my youngest brother who is autistic and the world has continued to go to hell all around me so I've been a bit busy as I'm sure you all have been.
On top of that, a while ago the FDA announced their PMTA's which is the testing that us juice manufacturers are supposed to be going through. The cost of testing every SKU was much too high for a small business like Roar V***r, but that was exactly the point of the PMTA's. They were put in place to thin out the competition for big to***co and big pharma to better capitalize on the market.
In short, Roar V***r will close its doors on our shop in Jackson on October 1st. The website may last a little while longer, but that is to be determined. I am not ashamed of closing my business. I never sold out or sacrificed quality to save money. I never used food coloring, sweeteners, vitamins, caffeine or sexy labels to sell my products. I don't owe anyone anything, never had investors. I fought for all of our rights to v**e as best I could. I built this business from nothing and the only reason it is closing is because of government overreach and regulations. I'm proud of what I have accomplished and I'm trying to look forward to whatever is to come.
I said October 1st because I estimate that is how much stock we have left. I expect people to stock up and order large after this announcement and honestly now is the time, but that was taken into consideration when I estimated stock. So I could be way off, I could have stock lasting into November, it all depends on what sells in the time given. There are many petitions floating around to give us an extension of another 6 months. It would be great if that were to happen, but it would be just that... only 6 more months until the inevitable. The PMTA's are set to destroy small v**e shops around the country and mine is a prime example. I will keep the website open as long as it remains legal for me to do so, the store in Jackson will be closed as of October 1st. It is done.
So with all that said, there have been a few changes on the website. The 30ml option is gone but I've added a "bulk" option of sorts in the form of 10x 120ml bottles. Normally would cost $250, is set at $210. Also there is a coupon live now, it is "F**kTheFDA" for an additional discount.
PLEASE understand, I fully expect to get swamped with orders both in store and online. If you order online, please know that your order will almost definitely be delayed. You will get what you order, but depending on many many variables: you might, for example, order in September and get it in October. I have no way of predicting what is about to happen, so please bare with me.
I want to thank each and every customer, new and old. Some of you have been with me for the full 10 years that Roar V***r has been around and some of you just found us last week. You all mean the world to me, we couldn't have made it this far without you. If my flavors are the only thing keeping you from smoking, if there is a flavor of mine that is all you buy, or if this news of Roar V***r closing is as devastating to you as it is for me... please email me. I can still help in many ways, either by suggesting another company I know of or whatever. We'll figure something out.
