Just look at what walked, tumbled, and rolled out of the boxes! 🍂🎃🕷️

Is it too early for fall? Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, we couldn't resist giving you a little preview of some of the fun fall décor arriving at Ebert's!

Pumpkins, autumn accents, a few creepy-crawlies... there's plenty more to come as we slowly make our way toward the next season.

🌾 Plant of the Week: Ornamental Grasses

Think flowers are the only way to add interest to your garden? Think again! 👀✨

Grasses like Karl Forester, Little Bluestem, and switchgrass bring movement, texture, height, and year-round structure to the landscape—and many are incredibly easy to care for.

Well... look what the rain dragged in. 🐸😂

After yesterday's rainstorm, we discovered this rather impressive bullfrog nestled between the zinnias in one of our plant trays.

Apparently, he decided Ebert's offered suitable accommodations.

We learned something in the process, too! One easy way to distinguish a bullfrog from a green frog is to look at the folds of skin behind the eyes. On a bullfrog, the fold curves around the tympanum (the round "ear"), while on a green frog, the ridges continue down the back.

Bullfrogs are also formidable predators, happily making meals out of insects and plenty of other small creatures they can manage to swallow.

He hasn't offered to help water the zinnias, so we've asked him to head back to the pond where he came from. 🐸🌸

Ladies' Night Out gave us a rare opportunity to see the Village after dark. ✨

The first of these photos was taken at 8:35 p.m., the second at 9:44 p.m.—long after the sun had disappeared.

There was something magical about seeing the flowers illuminated by the soft glow of the lights against the velvety blackness of the night. After an evening filled with music, laughter, bell bottoms, tie-dye, and plenty of '70s flair, the Village seemed to take on a completely different kind of beauty.

It was such a wonderful evening, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who came out, dressed up, joined in the fun, and made Ladies' Night Out 2026 a night to remember.

What a groovy night it was. ✌️🌸

Behind every great event is a lot of teamwork. 🌸

Tables are going up. Displays are coming together. Flowers are looking their best. There's a wonderful buzz of activity around Ebert's as everyone puts the finishing touches on Ladies' Night Out!

We're open all day as usual, but the festivities begin at 4:00 p.m.

We can't wait to welcome everyone for an evening of shopping, laughter, delicious food, and beautiful flowers.
