Thank you axogen and Oncology Nursing News for bringing
post-masectomy chest numbness into the conversation. Many women diagnosed with breast cancer are not educated of ALL the side effects of a masectomy. Thankfully, we are beginning to see more information and education of how chest numbness can be treated successfully. I am honored that my story was published in Oncology Nursing News. Please share with those that may need the information.

Oncology nurses are in a unique position to educate patients with breast cancer about post-mastectomy chest numbness.

I was extremely lucky to “have a village” supporting me with anything I needed.No matter what happened I had someone “on shift” as they would say LOL. I am one of the lucky ones , I AM BLESSED ! Now I am healthy and strong to be able to give what my Family and Friends did for me, as simple as SUPPORT. If you have a loved one needing assistance please DM us.
