Remember the sneak peek of Pam B.’s Tilda Fabrics USA Geese Quilt from earlier this week? We thought it deserved a full roll down reveal! How sweet are these geese?! We love that she used a soft cream Minky on the back to really tie it all together! Let’s hear it for Pam B.! 👏

We’ve once again partnered with the community hub that is the Lancaster Community Library in Kilmarnock, Va to curate a display of our handmade quilts inspired by our favorite kid’s books characters! We hope you’ll take a look during the month of August and of course, if you are a quilter, we’ve got everything you need to create your very own book inspired quilts!

Two of our young sewers from Kid’s Camp brought their finished quilt tops in to pick out their backing fabric, quilting thread and design - we are so proud of their hard work and creativity!

We are so in love with this quilt by our customer Pam B! She used the free pattern Maple Pond Swimming Geese Quilt from Tilda Fabrics USA and backed it with Minky for the most cuddley quilt ever! Let’s hear it for Pam! 👏

Come check out how Kid’s Sewing Camp is going with us! The seven students have had a blast making their own quilt top, pillow case and handled patchwork bag this week with guidance from Lee and hosted at the beautiful Rappahannock River Yacht Club They have learned design and sewing techniques as well as exercised their creativity muscles - we are so proud of them! Did you miss camp but still want to join in the fun? Call us about scheduling a private sewing lesson or come in a grab a La France quilt top kit or pillow case kit, we have many styles available!
