Tried something new this month… while I’m typically a one-project-on-the-needles-at-a-time kind of knitter, I thought I would cast on lots of things I’ve been wanting to start. And bonus, I gave myself permission to use lovely yarn I’ve been collecting from other dyers over the past couple of years! 💕

All of my October cast ons that are currently stealing my attention:

The response to this colorway at blew me away… It sold out on multiple bases before the show even ended. 🥹 Since it is quite honestly in the top three colorways I’ve ever dyed, I wanted to bring it to the shop for a pre-order. 💕
While I previewed the colorway here before the show, I did not release the name. That was intentional: this one was kind of personal. But I think it resonated with a lot of people last weekend.
Somehow we grew up being led to believe the hardest part of being an adult would be things like paying bills or raising kids. But I haven’t found that to be the truth. Those things might be hard sometimes, but nothing has been quite as difficult as being left emotionally hurt by a trusted someone, or watching it happen to someone you love.
So to borrow a quote from Taylor Swift: “thanK you aIMee.” My “Aimee’s” may never see this; but if they do, I hope you know who you are. Thanks for inspiring this one. 💔

Heading down to and I wanted to share a brand new special colorway I’ll be debuting at the show this weekend! It’s a lovely autumnal blend of muted aqua, plum, and chocolately pumpkin, and I hope you love it as much I do. 🩵💜🧡
I have (hopefully) plenty of skeins in this one, dyed up on Harris Sock and NEW bases: Freeman DK (super squishy) and Wilson Suri (an absolute dream 😍)!

When our family got the schedule for our move, I sadly had to back out of this year… but I got picked up from the wait list for and have been working around the clock ever since to get ready for next weekend! SO MUCH coming with me that I hope to share over the next week in between packing it all up and heading south!!
