Fathers Day is only 3 months out and Mother’s Day is even closer, but now’s the time to start thinking about the perfect gift. Having said that, let me introduce a new product. They are called “Story Hats”. These hats are fully customizable to tell your friend or family members story. Think about 4 to 7 things to represent them and what pictures we could use to communicate those thoughts. I made one of these hats for my dad and one for my father-in-law (pictured) and they were both blown away and very moved. Knife #5 Pictures
Hey everyone, I've got a great collection of knives that I'll be posting this morning. They are all made from a saw blade from an old saw mill. I left the patina in varying degrees on each of the knives.
Knife #5 from the "SAW BLADE COLLECTION" is big bad boy of the collection. This KUKRI's blade is 13 1/2 inches from tip to guard. The handle is made from beautiful red Paddock wood wich really pops in contrast to the dark patina in the saw mill blade. The sheath is leather with a mean black alligator insert in the front. It also has dual cary options, side cary from the loop at the top or cross draw from the second belt opening in the back. This knife would make a great camp knife. You can use it for everything from cutting a trail through the brush, to cutting kindling for the camp fire. As you can see from the testing video it's a real work horse!

Knife #4 from the "SAW BLADE COLLECTION" is a little bigger but still a small wonder. The blade is about 3 1/2 inches long and the handle is made from Zebra Wood. Much like the animal, the light and dark contrast in the grain of the wood really sets it apart from the "big box" knives. The sheath is also beautifully hand tooled and really looks great when you cary it. This knife would also be a great daily cary knife if you work in a facility that will allow it.

Knife #3 from the "SAW BLADE COLLECTION" is small but mighty. The blade is only 2 3/4 inches long but it is sharp and has a needle point. The handle is made from beautiful curly maple and the grain really stands out. The sheath is also hand tooled and really complements the wood in the handle. This knife would be a great daily cary knife if you work in a facility that will allow it.

Knife #2 from the "SAW BLADE COLLECTION" is a Drop Point Hunter. The blade length is just under 5 inches and I laminated various hard woods to make the handle. One of my favorite things about this build was making the sheath. As you can see I hand tooled acorns and oak leaves into the leather to really complement the natural woods in the handle.

Knife #1 from the "SAW BLADE COLLECTION" is a Recurve Bowie. I made the handle from a piece of river wood that I found with lots of holes that I filled with ocean blue and mother of pearl resin. I love how the natural patina of the wood gives it a distressed look.
The sheath is made from buffalo hide and elephant hide in the window.

Here is a blast from the past! Here is a custom knife I made for the Hoagland Fire Department and EMS for their fundraiser auction. This knife has a custom brass bell pommel. The handle is made from river wood and resin, made to look like its on fire. The stainless steel guard is a custom fireman’s axe along with a sheath made from decommissioned fire hose. I felt so privileged to be able to support our first responders.
