If you have a bolt on neck that has back bow so bad that the truss rod won't work all the way loosened, just clamp it to a straight edge that's sturdy (machined) with shims under the 4th or 5th fret (I use brass). Bake in a pre-heated oven at 175 degrees for approximately one hour. Let cool, remove clamps and check. You may have to give it a little more time in the oven then let it cool with clamps on for 24 hours. It should have slight relief so your truss rod will be adjusted again.
