Q: This shirt started out yellow, and I used 3 pinks, two oranges, and another yellow - so why are there green spots?
A: one of those pinks leaned more purple than I remembered, and whatever blue was in that mix must have combined with the base yellow.

I've been doing this for years and the surprise element is still one of my favorite parts!

This is the second time I've gotten a notification that FB would like for me to use AI to promote my business. I want to assure all of you that AI is not, could not, and will never be part of my work. I dye or paint each thing I make individually, by hand, both because I love the process and because AI can't create art - only copy it.

PREORDERS!
Friends, I'm sure you are hearing this from other small businesses, but it is looking like the cost of my supplies is about to go up dramatically. In preparation, I would like to offer preorders to let you lock in current prices! Here's how it will work: order and pay for one of my top 5 dance-related items at their current price any time between now and April 30. Prices will go up on May 1. If you will be in Madison April 25-27, I will bring your veil or scarf for pickup there. Or, take your time deciding what colors you want and make your request any time through the end of August. This lets you order at the lower price while helping me offset the cost of a big preparatory order of supplies.

Still dyeing for Madison! You may be thinking, Lin, that veil is so bright it practically glows! Well, you're right - not only is there no filter making it pinker than pink, but one of the dyes used glows under black light - check out the video snippet in the comments!

This sample of the blue patent leather is a more straightforward Travelers Journal style, with no pockets, but sized to fit regularly proportioned notebooks instead of the proprietary TJ ones. The notebook shown is 8.25x5.5.

More planner covers! I have patent leather in blue, red, and lavender, and since I can sew the pockets by machine they are much more affordable than the heavier leather. No hand painting available on these. $35 pocket/A6 size, $50 8x5/A5 size.
