Thought I would post my findings on having a license or permit to auction. As some folks had brought up they believe we needed to have a license . We do not have to have a license just a Bond which I will purchase before the next swap-n-auctionmeet. Also I am working on finding an auctioneer to help build a better auction platform.

Auctioneer License Requirement:
There is no auctioneer license requirement in CA. However, California does mandate that auctioneers and auction companies must have a bond filed with the state of at least $20,000.00. The CA Department of Insurance maintains a list of current companies that can assist you in obtain a bond.

Hello Camanche Swap-N-Auctionmeet friends! We had an overall good weekend for our first ever swap meet event. Would like to thank everyone who came out to support our local businesses and our amazing community. We look forward to seeing you out there again!

We regretfully have to cancel the Swap-N-Auctionmeet this weekend, December 12th. After seen the influx in local covid cases we think it is the best for our communites safety to postpone until 2021. Please stay tuned for future dates and have a safe and Merry Christmas!

Load up as many people in your car as you can and come out the first two Saturdays of December entry fee is only $5 per car whether it's one person or 10! We have a wide variety of vendors attending lots of antiques, classic car parts, home decor, airbrush artist, fishing tackle, decorative fingernails, candles and soaps, and Christmas decorations! There will be a auction held part way through the day to allow vendors to sell any items they wish in auction platform.
