Having a garage sale? Second Chance would love your leftovers! Remember...We don't take clothes. We do take toys, small appliances, dishes, pots and pans, chairs, tables, glassware...pretty much everything but clothes. Call if you have questions. This is my fifteen-year-old granddaughter Alison. She started a cottage industry making and selling cake-pops. Even though she lives in Shawnee, she wants to raise money to support ACARF. She pledged from the very beginning to donate $.25 for each cake-pop she sells. I asked her to donate cake-pops instead of cash. She sold some at the craft fair in November and at Christmas time at Second Chance. Today she sent me home with 45 cake-pops. These will be available starting Friday until they are gone. 100% of the proceeds will go to support ACARF! We will keep most of them in our store's freezer so they will stay fresh. Come check them out. I'd love to tell my granddaughter that all of her work earned $90 for ACARF! The pink are chocolate cake with double-dipped white chocolate. The orange are birthday cake with white chocolate.
