Pit dig is Saturday August 27!! The official start time is 9:00 to give people time to get there in the morning. However if you live close and would like to start early to try and beat the heat, we should have people there early as well. We can use all the help we can get!!

We have the entire Holder Mine campground reserved, all the targets are printed. We’re ready! Please say a little prayer that Mother Nature cooperates this year.
We’re going to need lots of help to get the range ready this year. We always have a pit dig the weekend before the Jamboree. We will welcome any help we can get.

Due to unmanageable restrictions being placed on the council by Forestry we will have to cancel the 2021 Jamboree. This was a tough decision since we have not been able to have a Jamboree for several years. We simply do not have enough volunteers to put on the shoot as well as police all the additional restrictions being forced upon us this year. We have already gained approval to have the event next year as we have done it in the past however we have not ruled out the possibility of changing venue all together. Our 50+ year relationship with forestry and the Holder mine campground has changed dramatically due to staff that we have dealt with for years retiring and not sharing the historical information about the jamboree with the new staff. We will be working diligently to make sure there will be a Bowhunters Jamboree next year. In the meantime, we are actively seeking volunteers and area representatives. If you would like to see the Jamboree continue and you feel that you can help in someway please reach out to any of our directors.
