🌈Plant of the Week: Peacock Fern🌈

🪴Otherwise known at Rainbow Moss, this beautiful color shifting plants are native to China. They are neither a true fern nor a true moss, but due to their growth patterns and appearance they are classified as ferns

☀️ like most ferns, Peacock Ferns prefer to be in shadier areas. They can handle bright indirect like, or a spot that is mostly shady with a few hours of direct light, but they thrive in shade.

💧unlike most plants we feature, the Peacock Fern is NOT drought tolerant. They prefer to stay moist like other ferns. If they start to yellow it might be a sign of under-watering.

Just like our Peacock Fern, make sure you stay hydrated out there. Have a safe and happy Pride month🌈

🌱Plant of the Week: Staghorn Fern🌱

🪴 This eye catching fern is a great statement piece of any collector. While they can be planted in soil, they truly thrive on a piece of wood or wrapped in moss. In turn, they become like a living art piece in your home!

☀️ these plants can handle high heat! They do well between 50-100 degrees. Since they normally grow on trees, they need to be in a shadier area with only dappled sunlight. Great for your covered porch!

💧since these plants are typically mounted, it makes watering interesting. But all you have to do is take it down, put in your sink or even your bathtub and soak the root ball for 10-15 minutes. Allow it to drip dry before hanging it back up

🌱Plant of the Week:Alocasia Tiny Dancer🌱

🍃 this newly developed hybrid is perfect for smaller spaces. She only gets about 14-20 inches once she reaches maturity. She is characterized by pointy cup-shaped leaves and curved stems, making her stand out from other Alocasias

🪴Like most of our plants, she prefers a chunky soil, but unlike most of them she likes to stay a little moist. Don’t let her completely dry out and she’ll be your best friend.

🐾 please note like all other alocaisas, Alocasia Tiny Dancer is toxic to pets.

🌱Plant of the Week: Happy Leaf Pothos🌱

🍃 This Pothos cultivar stands out from other highly variegated varieties with its larger leaves and erratic variegations. She prefers a cool splatter of white to the uniform, distinct margins of a Pearls and Jade or N’Joy pothos. She’s the wild child of the family 😉

🪴 Like other pothos, she enjoys a chunky soil mix and bright, in direct light. Water when the soil has completely dried out and she’ll be your friend for a long time

If you’re looking for a Happy Leaf pothos, you’re in luck! We have some in stock at

🌱Plant of the Week: String of Frogs🌱

🍃This creeping vine loves a well draining soil. They are great ground cover, covering the soil in whatever home you choose to put them in. They do great in planter pots and they’re a favorite for terrarium builders!

💧these beauties prefer bottom watering! Get a container of water and set her pot in, covering the drainage holes. Leave it 10-20 minutes depending on the size of your pot. The soil soaks up the water and you’re good to go!

If you’re looking for a String of Frogs, you’re in luck! We have a few out The Trading Post at Deep Creek Stop by and pick one up today!
