Located in Comfort between Boerne and Kerrville, The 8th Street Market is one of those places that feels impossible to fully take in during just one visit. The property is packed with vintage finds, antiques, architectural pieces, home décor, outdoor gathering spaces, and all kinds of unexpected treasures around every corner.

Inside the market is Comfort Coffee Co., which has quietly become one of our favorite coffee spots anywhere nearby. They serve Merit Coffee from San Antonio, make fantastic cappuccinos, and have a bakery case that’s dangerously good. The chocolate chip cookie alone is worth the drive.

A town of fewer than 100 people hosts one of the largest antiques markets on Earth twice a year.

Round Top, officially the smallest incorporated town in Texas, transforms twice yearly into a sprawling antiques fair drawing hundreds of thousands of buyers from across the country. What started in the 1960s as a small community sale has grown into a month-long event spanning dozens of fields and venues across several small towns nearby. Designers and collectors now plan entire trips around the spring and fall Round Top shows, some flying in internationally.
