Feeling incredibly grateful today!

The Little Shed on Salem was named 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥-𝗨𝗣 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 in the Iowa Living Magazines Residents’ Choice Awards!

And honestly, this one caught us completely by surprise. We didn’t even know we had been nominated until we received the email letting us know we were chosen as runner-up!

So, to everyone who took the time to cast a vote for our little shop… 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨! Knowing that you thought enough of The Little Shed to put our name on a ballot means more than you know!

Every person who walks through our doors, shops with us, shares a post, tells a friend about us, or cheers us on is a part of this little adventure! Small business ownership is a wild, amazing, sometimes exhausting ride, and having a community that continues to show up for us makes every bit of it worth it!

We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to shop small, support local, and choose The Little Shed!

We may not have known we were in the running, but YOU clearly knew we were worth a vote… and that feels pretty dang special!

Back in the shoppe today… and if we’re being honest, I think I’m still recovering from Balloon Week! 😂🎈

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by and shopped with us last week, both at the National Balloon Classic Gift Shop and right here at our storefront. Your support, encouragement and love for our little shop means more than you know! 🖤

I’m back at it today with some fresh goodies hitting the shelves, including these THREE new hats that I’m pretty obsessed with! Everyone knows I have a hat problem! 😂

What a day yesterday! Downtown Dough never disappoints!

We left last night with aching feet, full hearts, and empty hangers.. and we wouldn’t have it any other way! This day has quickly become one of our favorites! Seeing our community show up and love on our amazing Downtown district is something we never take for granted!

Thank you to every single person who shopped small, stopped in, shared a smile, and supported not just us but all of Downtown! And a huge thank you to our Indianola Main Street and sponsors for putting together such an amazing event! We feel so lucky to be part of this community! 🖤

Happy Birthday Lindsay!

She is the ultimate chaos coordinator, both at home and at work. She manages the store and keeps everything running smoothly, is an amazing momma to three very busy little people, and somehow still finds time to put up with all of my crazy ideas while helping me figure everything out.

She stays busy helping at the funeral home several days a week and serves on the Indianola Main Street Board. Sometimes I honestly don't know how she does it all, but it may be all of the Spark drinks and coffee she has on her desk helping her out :)

I love you so very much, and I couldn't be more proud of the incredible young woman you've become. I hope your birthday is as amazing as you are. ❤️

It’s Balloon Classic week!! 🎈

We’ve got beautiful flying weather ahead and a full week of magic in the skies! Truly the best time to be in town and one of my favorite times of the year!☀️

We’ll be open additional days, so stop in while you’re downtown soaking it all in! Don’t forget to visit our pop-up space in the gift shop at the balloon field!
