Used G***k 23 in near perfect condition. These ex issue fi****ms can be such great finds!

My G***k 19 was the inspiration for switching up to the 40 S&W version. It has a slightly beefier slide and 13 round magazine, instead of 15 rounds of 9mm. I think this is a fair trade off considering the stopping power of 40 and would be happy using this as one of my EDC.

The increased recoil is noticeable over the G***k 19 and finding an off the shelf holster may not be easy. The manufacturers concentrate on those models still popular with the various agencies, so probably need to order a custom holster.

Same pistols, different color background, music and mood. Both sets of photos show the same pistols in different ways.

Neither set of photos seem better than the other, as they are all treated with Double Tap and their gloss reacts differently to the background color.

The M1991 is also treated, but is a matt phosphate and Double Tap does not alter the look of matt.

G***k 17 Gen 5 and G***k 19 Gen 5.

Its been a while since I fired my G19, as I predominately carry and practice with my 43X, especially as it has a 15 round mag.

I have heard good things about the G17, despite also hearing its too big. So I hought i would make my own mind up!

Well it fires and feels a little nicer than the excellent G19. Recoil isnt much different, so the increased grip size of the 17 could be the reason.

I'm really very pleased with it and the G17 has made me reevaluate G***k. Another nice point is that the G17 also perfectly fits the sane holster for my G19

Manufactured in 1992, this C**t had been barel been fired in its 35 year life. It fired superb from the start and it was one of those lucky finds.

Fast forward a year and I have discovered Nighthawk and fitted their complete ignition kit. The trigger is amazing and better than i can make myself. Great quality product and great price.

I have also ordered the Nighthawk flat mainspring housing to replace the original plastic C**t MSH and it will be perfect.

Both are fitted with Nighthawk Trigger and ignition systems, with 80's system conversions. Trigger response is perfect, as you would expect.

The 1992 manufactured C**t on the left has original Phosphate finish and 2000 manufactured on right is hot salt blued.

A little different to others, in how you break it down and how it locks back. You need to remove the empty magazine to release the slide and the barrel is removed first when breaking down. Sights are minimal and makes for a different and interesting piece.

Looks like this one was manufactured in 1948 and it was in excellent condition on arrival. Very stiff and required l**e, before being fired. Virtually zero recoil from the 380 and great fun to fire.

Shot side by side with the 84 BB and both make 380 fun to fire.

Daily carry rotation chronicles #2

Superb XDM Elite 45 with extended mag and IWB holster, is today's defensive rotation firearm.

Not everything I own is made out of hard steel and looks like a 1911 or a Beretta. My Polymer's are set aside for defense and daily carry purposes.

No hard ball rounds, just defensive ammo, just in case I'm faced with a situation I hope never happens.

C**t SEA1 Limited Edition.

One of C**t's best recent new 1911 offerings, with only the terrible C**t factory fitted Sear getting in the way of a perfect 10!!

I fitted one of my own modified C**t Sears and it runs like a top. Very accurate and just feels great to shoot.

For those who are considering a new C**t, this model comes highly recommended.
