Good afternoon, ReStore friends and family!
Normally, we are on social media trying to let people know how much their donations help us server our mission here at Habitat for Humanity. Today, however, we are appealing to you for a different kind of donation.
This is our forklift. There are many like it, but this one is our own. This thing is our secret weapon in daily operations and without it we would not be able to accomplish nearly as much as we do. Whether we are stacking palettes, moving giant rolls of carpet, or helping our customers load a riding lawnmower onto their pickup truck, this little fella does it all.
Here is where you come in. This old thing has seen better days. We are in desperate need of new tires for it. Our back lot is filled with gravel and loose dirt and it is becoming increasingly more difficult to navigate with the tires at their current state. If anyone has a lead on a compatible set for a CAT forklift, or any other parts that you would be willing to donate, please come by the store and ask to speak with a member of our management team, or call us at 317.777.6140
