Things are changing.
State taxes and shop update.
Come get ready for the weekend.
Delta products are fully restocked.
Hardware and some e-liquid restock orders have started to land.
We also placed a hefty delta order that will, hopefully, land by the weekend - all the carts, disposables and prerolls you could ever want. We’ll post an update when we get that in.
We’re open until 4 PM today.
Happy Easter, everyone.
If you know, you know. Not much needs to be said about Vapor Lock.
Cool Breeze Vapor
So, hey. Here's the deal. I have a tendency to write novels on here, so I'll try to keep this short.
With all of this FDA stuff going on, certain products are hard to come by these days.
But, let's take zero nic e-liquids, as an example.
Manufacturers had to register everything with the FDA and apply to keep their products on the market. Well, the FDA unjustly did a blanket ban (otherwise known as an MDO - Marketing Denial Order) on 99.9% on the applications they had...hundreds of thousands...dare say...millions of applications.
Well, when TFN/synthetic nic came around (to pretty much sidestep the FDA for the time being), these manufacturers couldn't continue to manufacture their zero nic e-liquids as they were wrapped up in the previous applications, MDOs and whatnot.
We still have zero nic options available, and, moving forward, we will be sure to bring in whatever zero nic options we can, however it may not be your usual selection.
It's the same deal for old favorites for lines you might still see on our shelves - a lot of products have either changed to accommodate TFN, new products emerged and other went away completely.
Just wanted to give y'all a little update on that. Hope you're doing well.
After 3+ years, there still seems to be a little confusion.
There are three similar doors at the front of our building.
We tried to get out in front of this issue early on.
If you’re facing the building:
The door on the left has a big white arrow pointing right. The door on the right has a big white arrow pointing left.
The middle door is labeled “entrance.”
To the fella that got out of his car, pulled on the locked door on the right and got back in his car and left, come back. We’re open. I promise.
Try the middle door.
I know there's a perceived stigma when it comes to certain things, but...
You're safe in here.
We're not cops. We're not undercover DEA agents. We're vape shop employees.
If you need a device for your cart, you can say so. If you want to browse our delta selection or ask questions about said products, feel free to do so.
Just like Planet Fitness, this is a judgment-free zone.
Tell us what you're looking for and we'll point you in the right direction.
We opened up a bit early this morning.
If you're out and about and need a pack of coils, a bottle of e-liquid and/or three new mods, stop on by.
Random post, but if anyone just happens to be looking for TFV8, Prince/T12 coils, stop by and see us. We'll cut you a mega deal.

Hey guys. Justin here. Just wanted to check in with you. Can I borrow a couple minutes of your time?
Please read this - especially if you're a small business owner, but I want you, our customers, to see this, as well.
This is the ugly truth.
Things are rough - in our industry, in our business, in our personal lives...literally everywhere. We have struggled to maintain what little we have left.
While I can't discuss specific numbers, I can tell you, as the bookkeeper for the Vice, that, over the last two years, our sales have dropped 55%. A good chunk of that is attributed to losing our location over on Thompson (V1). I mean, that was homebase. That store was our money maker. However, with the shutdowns that happened, that store sat vacant for way too long and killed us. We had to let it go. With the overhead being much lower in Wanamaker, we figured we'd at least survive moving forward - and, for the most part, we have...just barely.
We've had to adjust store and employee hours. We've more than struggled to even place orders and I know that has angered more of you than I want to even think about...but we do think about it. It eats at us. Trust me. I'd love for nothing more than to have fully stocked shelves and for you to have zero issues getting exactly what you want, when you want. But it just hasn't been that pretty of a situation lately. Truth be told, it stresses us out. One thing you don't see is the hours and hours of back-and-forth text messages. Late-night phone calls, the arguments this stress has caused...it has taken its toll on all of us here at the Vice. The sacrifices we've made just to stay open that much longer. In all honesty, we've had that "we need to just pull the plug" conversation way too many times in recent history. Employees have pooled money to place orders. TJ went and got another job to lessen the payroll overhead. Think about that for just one second...the owner...went and got another job rather than lay any of us off or permanently shut the business down. Pat has backed away from taking dividend checks - well, they both have.
There's a lot more I want to say on that topic and if you want to hear it, I'll make a video.
However, I know we're not the only ones suffering. I have personal friends that have lost their restaurants. Yo Mama Roux, Crustiez Pizza, Wings and Ice Cream. Other local favorites have shut down: The Stacked Pickle, Edward's Drive-In, Big Daddy's Bar & Grill, Bravo, Books & Brew, Moe & Johnny’s, The Tamale Place, Claddagh, Champps, The Legend Classic Irvington Cafe, MacNiven's, Old Pro's Table...the list goes on and on and definitely goes way beyond restaurants and eateries. We've sadly watched other vape shops shut down, major vaping businesses and distros close their doors...we've listened to your stories, as a small business owner, about how you're on the verge of a total collapse.
On a personal level, I absolutely hate that for you. I hate the fact that TJ had to go punch someone else's timeclock. When Yo Mama Roux's owner, Colleen, posted that tearful video when she finally HAD to shut down, I cried with her. I take all of this to heart. We all do. We see you.
So, with all of that said, I want to do something. Whether or not it's going to help, I don't know...but it's something to try.
If you own a small business and you want to be featured right here on our page to help get your business out there, send us an email at: [email protected] or hit the inbox at the top of the page (if emailing, please put something like "Vice page promo" in the subject line so I can keep track of them). Include all of the info about your business, your logo, photos of your business and/or what you do...anything and everything you want people to know about you and your business. As these start rolling in, I'm going to schedule posts to automatically go out every Monday morning. I will then share these posts and so will TJ (and so will anyone else that's so inclined to do so). You'll have a potential reach of thousands of people. You don't have to pay us for this, but if you wanted to kick us a dime...I'm not going to argue with you (you can even write it off as advertisement expenses in your books). But, you don't HAVE to and you NOT paying us will not change the love we show your business. Please know that.
Let's start helping one another. That's the only way we're going to get through this - together.
It's Saturday right now. Who's going to be the first business on Monday? Let us know.
We love you guys.

We’re closing up early tonight to ensure our employees get home safely. Please be careful if you’re out and about.
This is a little bit of a weird post, but we need your help.
If you could simply comment the date and time this post first pops up on your feed, that would be greatly appreciated.
We’re trying to figure out how far in advance we need to post certain things, so the more input we have here, the better.
Roses are red
We’re open until 9

Good news and bad news(ish).
Good news is Comcast spent most of the day Wednesday and Thursday repairing the line and connections into our building AND the local node (as it had some major issues, too). They also installed a cellular backup for us that works flawlessly.
Bad news is…
Do you want to know how we know the cell backup works flawlessly? …Because that’s what we’re currently running on as our services have gone down yet again. I mean, it took about 6 hours after “everything was repaired” for it to go down again…
What does this mean for day-to-day business as far as you guys (our wonderful customers) are concerned? We can now run card payments regardless of an internet connection issue. So you’re good, in that regard. However, our phones are down until service is restored. And some of our accent lighting may not be on as it’s solely controlled through our Google Home device…(translation: I’m not smart enough to figure out how to turn Philips Hue devices on/off without unplugging them or using a smart assistant of some sort and Google Home devices do not operate at all without an internet connection - not even for local network functions).
A few weeks ago I reopened the Vice inbox. I’m going to attempt to keep that open on my computer screen all day, so if you need us just simply hit the message button at the top of the page and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
At this exact moment, at 10:08 AM, we have phone and internet again. We're up and running full tilt.
Join the Pastel Cartel.
Esco Bar Mega.
600mAh rechargeable battery.
There might be a few of you on here that knew Jeremy Grimm. He was an e-liquid manufacturer back in the day, but he was a close friend of ours here at the Vice and was more than supportive of us.
Jeremy unfortunately passed away Tuesday evening.
Due to his declining health, Jeremy was unable to work last year and his family struggled with finding adequate insurance to cover his medical needs. He also did not have life insurance.
We fully understand times are tough when it comes to money these days, but if you can donate, please do. If you're able to share this, please do. His family needs all of the help and support they can get right now.
Jeremy fought a long extensive battle with liver disease. Unfortunately, he lost that battle due to … Elyzabeth Grimm needs your support for Funeral Expenses
We're open today.
CORRECTION TO THE LAST POST (that’s now deleted):
After talking to the employees again, we will NOT be open today.
Stay warm and safe.
With any luck, we’ll see you tomorrow.
