March just marched on and on.

After an extremely slow winter in Brooklyn, it started to feel a little bit more normal this past month. Thank you to all of you that continue to come by (and to all you new folks!) and helping us chug along in the mysterious universe of retail. Let’s see if we can keep going!

1) Kimberly in the window of Bedford Ave wearing a trench coat that has sold, a dye experiment sweatshirt from and the coolest collar pins from
2) Buns asleep in the hazy and dusty sun of Shelby St.
3) when the local paper matches your handmade snoods
4) our neighbors of Shelby St. had an abolish ice coloring party a bit ago and distributed the spoils. we picked a few of our favorites and they now live in our window.
5) a monet cuff available in the brooklyn shop (or it’s online as well. www.superrealmuch.com)
6) watching the silly goings on of siblings is such a privilege now that we are closer to family in indiana. brad and jocelyn turn into fun loving little kids when they are around each other!
7) we danced
8) sunrise over ohio on my way to brooklyn for my monthly drop off and check in.
9) the brooklyn shop looks how i want it for exactly 48 hours and then it’s chaos that is hard to control from 3 states away.
10) leaving manhattan always feels bittersweet.
11) but then the lil’ one is waiting for me back on Shelby St.
12) brought a car load to brooklyn and brought another car load back to indy. circular fashions for real.

to see some of what is coming to brooklyn next week

i know it feels a little fall and not super springy but i was heavily influenced by that darn ralph lauren show.

come by the brooklyn shop tuesday to see it all first. i’ll (cat) be there. with some red wine spritzers or just spritzers. whatever.

this song reminds me of the time adam levine came into a shop i was working at in soho and i saw him boppin’ his head around and asked me who was playing. not that i was ever a fan of him or maroon 5 but not knowing who love & rockets were just made me even less of a fan. but i like to think he went home and did a deep dive and i helped educate him a little bit🤣

As a human, I enjoy February. I can sit and watch cold weather from inside for way longer than a month.

But as a business owner, I am so fu***ng happy that it is over!

1) Ohio, avoiding something on I-80.
Or at least that is what the lady on my phone led me to believe.
2) Me. Watching the cold from inside. I am not participating in the share photos of your childhood trend. AI is evil and you cannot convince me that those photos of children are not teaching the robots something somewhere.
3) Buns! On one of the warm days where it was all melting and she was going nuts for all the sniffs.
4) BB’s painted vintage mirror.
5) Gene hangs out in our back room.
6) Our life when the shop is closed. Me on my computer, BB on the drums and Lil’ in her safe place.
7) My first food stop in Williamsburg is always pizza from Vinnies. And this is the second stop. Sourdough bagels from Apollo.
8) The photo I sent my mother when I realized her “Trust me! I’m your auto mechanic!” mug is left handed! Things only left handed people notice or discuss.
9) Lil’ does not sleep in our bed when I am in NYC 🥺
10) NYC blizzard of ‘26 and took me 3 days to dig her out.
11) The light in the Brooklyn shop hits the Spring refresh
12) I will miss the Mac & cheese from Slammyz so much. But happy that I had it one last time!
13) Our neighbors in Indy, Emmett + Naieem, gave us these acrylic cubes that look great in the window💗

New to the Brooklyn shop!!

My favorite part about opening this shop in Garfield Park, Indiana has been the neighboring businesses and shops. Just the coolest cats around and have made Bradley, Lil’ Times and me so thankful to be apart of something special with such passionate and hard working people💗

Kendall, a third of the shop .apothecary just two doors down from us, created these amazing earrings (and collar pins). These are hand molded, so each eye is a little different, with polymer clay and have posts of hypoallergenic stainless steel. The coolest part is that the beads can be removed so you can just wear the 👁️

When I first saw them in their shop, I knew I had to bring them to Brooklyn! Thank you Kendall for making these for us🎉💗🎉

My bi-annual Brooklyn sale was supposed to start today. I came all the way here to set up for it. But alas, life throws these things at you and realizing it is nothing compared to people being taken away from their lives completely by the cowards of ICE.

But I physically cannot not work. So, I am here if anyone wants to chat and…

Please show up tomorrow and onwards for our SALE. February needs to be better!

This. Just this. Twice a year we do this.

I have been in a weird place, mentally, as many have in this despicable world we are living in. And if you don’t find it despicable, I would like to know what substances you can share for me to tune it out too.

I have been reminiscing about a simpler time when shady s**t was done where it’s supposed to…in the shade. Where if you are capable of doing horrible things to people, businesses and grandmothers, you hid it. But now that anything goes, people seem to feel less shame and that is terrifying. All of our social codes are gone. Life is not supposed to be this fu***ng HARD.

So, I watched Party Girl and remembered the days of going dancing at the Tunnel or that Ho**ah bar on 10th st. BANG THE PARTY dance circles.

We never talked politics. Because we didn’t have to. And maybe that complacency is what got us here. But I really don’t like it. I’m sad and mad ALL the time. And I just want to have a sale and be able to pay my staff and make next month’s rent. Ok?

Ok. Love you. Bye. Realist Riley OUT.

It only took me half a month to get this out of the way.

2025 was the hardest year yet for Super Real Much!

I won’t get into the nitty gritty of it cause I have seen the same wah wah stories on here and I don’t want to add mine.

Onto 2026 things! The Brooklyn shop is having its sale before the real sale! See slide 16. (Indy sale coming in February!)

Then I will be headed to Brookyn end of this month to set up the bi-annual Super Sale! See slide 17.

But seriously. I cannot stress this enough. Shop small as much as you can. Or the weird little creative businesses will continue to disappear and then everyone will be wearing identical uniforms on their energy creating treadmills earning points for food😭

I am so grateful to still be chugging along. I could not do it without those that get me and what I am trying to share with Super Real Much! Thank you thank you!

A super big thank you to Mirror Indy for including us on their thrift crawl!

A super big thank you to Mirror Indy for including us on their thrift crawl!

I often tell folks I don’t have a compulsive personality. TikTok Shop and those mandatory 2-minute YouTube ads in between video essays don’t grab my attention or move my wallet.

Mainly, I don’t want to be told what to like. And, at 24, I yearn for a time when buying new clothes meant cotton and not plastic materials such as polyester.

That’s why I thrift most of my clothes.

Come along with me on a tour inside three Indianapolis vintage stores. I talked with the owners about what it’s like selling things found in dumpsters and on the side of the road, and landing one-of-a-kind trinkets: https://bit.ly/4szeubI

We have gifty type things too. The hot toddy and mulling syrup mixes are a hit every year!

Another month gone by! Did not feel as fast as October. Being busy with all the things truly helped it slow down.

1) Arcoroc dish set available in the Indy shop and online. www.superrealmuch.com $84 for the set of 12
2) Live Jazz. Most Monday nights BB and I have been going to the so he can do what he loves to do on the regular. They have dragonfly ipa on tap and their pomme frites are the best.
3) I just saw yesterday that they tore this building down on Shelby.
4) We want to be regulars at
5) a reflection of me getting ready for our Grand Opening party.
6) SRM Indy shop looking good
7) The rack before I brought it to Brooklyn.
8) Did some banking while in NYC and had to hold tight to my pennies!
9) my mother’s storage unit in Connecticut. We have all realized that we do not have the lives we thought we would so we are trying to catalogue to get rid of things.
10) The rats at the Brooklyn shop are pretty cool. Sourdough bagel from
11) Leaving Brooklyn the best way visually but not any fun otherwise.
12) had my google map lady set to avoid tolls and she brought me to this little thrift shop at the Deleware Water Gap. I do what she tells me. I’m lucky to have not landed in the Water Gap.
13) creepy rest stop bathroom
14) I break my 12 hour road trip between shops by sourcing whenever I can.
15) the sourdough bagels are the only bagels so far that come close to something you can find in NYC.
16) is it a SRM post with ?!
17) tame ‘Holiday’ windows this year
18) swans are my spirit animal. My mother is a member of the NRA and I brought this belt buckle to Indy from her apartment.

Let’s see what December brings!!
