We’re having a Books and Brews event at Levity Brewing Co again and this time it’s going to be a love letter to the 90s. And what better way to enjoy a Scholastic Book Fair for adults than to relive part of our childhoods?
This goes out to you, Gen X, millennials, and elder Gen Z generations. A night of the 1990s.
Some of you, I do of course realize, will have been born in the 2000s. Hard for me to wrap my mind around people being adults who were born AFTER Y2K but some of you are not only adults, you’re contributing to your 401(k)s and trying to get a good night’s sleep by going to bed at 9:00. At any rate, if you’re young enough that you don’t remember the 90s, we still encourage you to come and enjoy the second-hand nostalgia the rest of us will be experiencing.
📣📣📣📣 Some important things for you to know:
1. This is the LAST Books and Brews event of the year. Going forward, this will likely be a ONCE a year event. So if you want to come, try to arrange your schedule accordingly!
2. I am SO excited to share the vendors we have lined up for you and I will be posting about them 1 by 1 to build the anticipation. And also because we are finalizing the list 😅
3. Weather permitting, this event will be outside and on the main level making it more accessible to all.
4. There might be another secret reveal later on if the stars align. ✨ if not, just pretend like it happened and it was great.
5. You’re encouraged to dress like you’re from the 1990s. I wore flare jeans, layered shirts, and a pair of dark green velvet FILA shoes which I loved but were most certainly not trendy.
